Muslim Labour councillor called Adolf Hitler ‘the greatest man in history’

Islamic Jew-hatred — it’s in the Quran. Savagery, genocide and hatred of the non-Muslim are righteous under Islam.

The Muslim world was aligned with the Nazis during World War II. The leader of the Muslim world, Mufti al-Husseini, raised Muslim armies for Hitler. The Mufti, whom  Yasser Arafat called “our hero,” is famous for his fanatical Jew-hatred. During World War II, the Mufti lived in the lap of luxury on Hitler’s dime in Berlin, met Hitler and traveled in top Nazi circles (he even stayed in Hitler’s bunker toward the end of the war). Among his close friends was Adolf Eichmann, who is commonly thought to be the architect of the Holocaust. Journalist Maurice Pearlman, author of the 1947 book The Mufti of Jerusalem, said that the Mufti advised Eichmann on the best ways to persecute Jews.

Hitler gave the Mufti a radio station, which al-Husseini used to preach Nazism and genocide in Arabic. In one of his broadcasts, the Mufti exhorted Arabs:

According to the Muslim religion, the defense of your life is a duty which can only be fulfilled by annihilating the Jews. This is your best opportunity to get rid of this dirty race, which has usurped your rights and brought misfortune and destruction on your countries. Kill the Jews, burn their property, destroy their stores, annihilate these base supporters of British imperialism. Your sole hope of salvation lies in annihilating the Jews before they annihilate you.

Al-Husseini practiced what he preached. During the Nuremberg Trials in July 1946, Eichmann’s assistant, Dieter Wisliczeny, testified that Mufti was a central figure in the planning of the genocide of the Jews:

A MUSLIM Labour councillor has been suspended form the party over shockingly racist tweets about Jewish people.

Aysegul Gurbuz, 20, became Luton’s youngest councillor last year when she was elected and is the latest in a series of anti-semitic scandals to hit the party.

The Warwick University student tweeted that Adolf Hitler was ‘the greatest man in history’ and that Iran should use nuclear weapons to “wipe Israel off the map”.

 

Last night she was suspended from the Labour Party after Campaign Against Anti-Semitism found a string of offensive posts on her Twitter account, the Mail on Sunday reports.

In series of disturbing tweets from between 2011 and 2014 she made repeatedly made references to “Jews”.

In one tweet, posted in January 2013, she said: “The Jews are so powerful in the US it’s disgusting.”

Another earlier post from October 2012 referenced the former Labour leader Ed Miliband saying because he is Jewish he will “never become prime minister of Britain.”

Last night the councillor claimed she was not the author of the tweets instead suggesting that her sister may have written them.

A Labour spokesman said: “Councillor Gurbuz has been suspended from the Labour Party pending an investigation.”

Gurbuz’s suspension is the latest Anti-Semitism storm to hit the Labour party since the co-chairman of its Oxford University club resigned claiming a ‘large proportion’ of its members had a “problem with Jews”.

Over the past weeks, Labour has suspended the deputy chairman of its Woking branch, Vicki Byrne, twice for posting anti-Semitic tweets, and suspended councillor Khadim Hussain, former Lord Mayor of Bradford, for sharing a Facebook post that said: “Your school education system only tells you about Anne Frank and the six million Zionists that were killed by Hitler.”

Gurbuz told the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism: “It was a joint account I had with my sister so I don’t know if she’s gone out and tweeted that, but I’m absolutely appalled right now.“Where I live we’ve got very good cohesion with the Jewish community… I’m absolutely shocked.”

Jonathan Sacerdoti, from the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, told the Mail: “These tweets are anti-Semitic. They appear on Aysegul Gurbuz’s personal account and there is no defence for that.

“Anti-Semitism is rising in Europe and the UK, and the regular anti-Semitic tweets and opinions emanating from the Labour Party have failed to elicit any meaningful response from Jeremy Corbyn. How many more cases must we see before Labour take action?”

Trevor Holden, chief executive of Luton Borough Council, said: “This will be referred as a matter of urgency to the council’s independent standards committee to allow a full investigation to take place.

“The council expects the highest standards of councillors and will not accept any behaviour which could undermine community cohesion.”
