Pamela Geller, Jewish Week: Rebuttal to Reform Rabbis
Truth Must Have A Place In A Synagogue

10

The Jewish Week ran an oped yesterday by two vicious leftist reformed rabbis who aligned with Islamic supremacists in their jihad to shut down my talk at the Great Neck synagogue. I penned the following rebuttal to their false accusations and smears before the Great Neck Synagogue caved to intimidation and pressure and cancelled my talk. I do not promote hate speech; I expose it.

"Truth Must Have A Place In A Synagogue" Pamela Geller The Jewish Week

Story continues below advertisement

In a shocking violation of their spiritual obligations as clerics, in an op-ed posted on The Jewish Week website (“Hate Speech Has No Place in a Synagogue”),
Rabbis Michael White and Jerome Davidson defame my work and me, while
falsely claiming that I am “defaming fellow Americans of a different
Abrahamic religion.” They have obviously never read my work — my columns
or my books. They falsely accuse me of hate speech and have the
chutzpah to invoke Jewish teachings.

When have these rabbis ever showed the same indignation they are
showing about my talk when leaders of groups linked to Hamas and the
Muslim Brotherhood, and even the convicted murderers of Jewish children,
have spoken on college campuses and at mosques in the United States?

Where were White and Davidson when Muslim Students Association members
have menaced and even physically attacked Jewish students on college
campuses, and shouted down and physically intimidated Israeli Ambassador
Michael Oren at the University of California-Irvine, preventing him
from speaking? Where were they when Islamic jihadists targeted
synagogues in the New York City area for terror attacks?

White and Davidson say, “we cherish our relationships and friendships
within the local Muslim community” — yet what kind of dialogue and
friendship does not involve honest discussion and confrontation when
needed, which is what my work is all about? They attack a fellow Jew for
expressing legitimate concerns, and boast about their close
relationship with the Islamic Center of Long Island. Did they ever
discuss the vile anti-Jewish rantings of one of the former officials of
that mosque, the late Ghazi Khankan, who preached there regularly and
blamed Israel, “the enemy of Muslims and Arabs,” for 9/11? The American
Jewish Committee’s Ellen Israelson said that Khankan “has always been
vocally anti-Israel.”

I truly don’t understand those of you, who are usually the first to cry for free speech, are now the first to take that right away from Ms. Geller. You are also the last to speak out against the very real threat of radical islam. This is a very real threat, experienced by millions around the world on a daily basis. By closing your eyes to it, you are empowering it. It is truly sad that in the name of PC you stand by and let millions suffer.

Sorry Pamela, I intended to come and hear you speak. We are living in difficult and dangerous times. Thank you for being fighter for all of us.
However, this incident, coupled with Carter’s award at Cardozo shows that we have already become a nation of inverted values, and Jews are behaving like sheep again.

The Neville Chamberlain crowd…. Peace In Our Time!….
All of this illustrates the fundamental misunderstanding of jihad, the root source of jihad, the commitments adherents have to jihad, and the intended targets of jihad.
I’m amazed that GNS caved. Didn’t see that one coming. I really didn’t.
Funny–another less well known speaker could come and say the same things–would there be the outcry? Or are they trying to silence PG who already has traction?
You should see if you can present your lecture to the two rabbis in question as well as the GNS rabbis, privately, then see if the opinion changes. Or send it to them in writing. Probably wouldn’t do any good.
The religion of “nice” “accommodation” “sensitivity” “believe anything the power brokers tell you” has replaced the truth. Since these guys aren’t researching the information themselves, how can anyone trust their “scholarship” in other religious matters?
Pamela, what can you do? Keep calm and carry on, I guess. Just sorry you were targeted with “hate speech” against you from fellow Jews.

Pamela, did the two Rabbi’s ever demonstrate their respects for Mr. Buckley, the man you were to share the speaking engagement with? Do they care about the wound in his heart, his families heart? They canceled the event because the reality is that the ire from the truth coming from this speaking engagement would have absolutely inspired a renewed sense of patriotism and devotion to the job of getting Islamic jihadists off the streets of America and bring our wonderful and dedicated troops home from Islamic jihadi hell holes because of the large volumes of green on blue attacks over the past few years to this very day.

“defaming fellow Americans of a different Abrahamic religion’
If we study actions of Prophet Mohammed we certainly find plenty to defame fellow Americans of Islamic persuasion. I mean, the guy was a freaking criminal. He was mass murderer, slave trafficker, pedophile, assassin of critics, rapist, armed robber, etc. etc. Yet, our ‘fellow Americans of Islamic persuasion’ hold up this guy as the paragon of human virtues! Oh, the guy was also a vicious anti-semite whose proudest achievement of his life was to ‘cleanse holy Arabia of filthy Jews’.
So on one side, you have a lone Jewish young woman who wants to give a speech to inform in a quiet conference setting.
On the other side, you have a bunch of angry muslim American thugs who want to stop her from speaking and are threatening to march on synagogue in protest – do we see a beginning of Nazi thuggery here??
So as Jewish Americans of this fine synagogue, which side should they be on???

I would also like to mention that life aim of these ‘fellow Americans of a different Abrahamic religion’ is to emulate Prophet Mohammed in all respects of his life. And that includes his denigration and cursing towards Jewish people. Why? Because according to Islamic teachings in the Koran and the Hadiths as well as the Sunnah of the Prophet, Jews are apparently very offensive to their Allah god!
If their prophet has succeeded in ‘cleansing Arabia of filthy Jews’, these fellow Americans’ long term goal may to ‘cleanse America of filthy Jews’. That, after all, is what being a good muslim means. Don’t be surprised to see this kind of attitude within next 20-40 years. It is already happening in Europe.

I emailed the following to the two Reform Rabbis who wrote the article condemning Pamela. As a Reform Jew I am ashamed of them – they are not fit to be leaders of any congregation.
“Dear Rabbi White
I am a UK Reform Jew, and I was appalled by your article in Jewish Week in which you insulted Pamela Geller. How can a Rabbi, versed in the Torah, ignore the basic principle of Pikuach Nefesh, saving your fellow Jews – because the fight against Islam to save the souls of others is the greatest Mitzvah a good Jew can perform. Your stance in favour of Muslims is nothing less than the action of a traitor.
It is frightening that a person like you is the spiritual adviser of such a renowned Synagogue. What hubris you display when you put in print such Hotza’at Shem Harah against somebody who is aware of the dangers Jews in the West face from Muslims and Islamism, and you do this in defiance of the fact that you know in Judaism Hotza’at Shem Harah is a worse sin than Lashon Harah.
Devout Muslims believe that their prophet was the perfect man, and they must emulate him in all that they do. They must follow the words in the koran to the letter, and they must mistrust and hate anybody who is not a Muslim, until he/she converts to Islam.
You say you follow the path of love towards your Muslim neighbours. They do not follow this path towards you, they cannot, because to do so would be to negate their faith.
You presume to speak for a great many Jews. You do your community a grave injustice by encouraging such close ties with those of a faith whose aim is destroy western culture and civilisation. They cannot be tolerant and moderate towards other faiths and still be good Muslims – they must be dedicated to bring you and your congregation to Islam.
You are the one who is placing your community in danger. You are totally unworthy of your status as a rabbi, you bring your profession into disrepute by assuming your views are indicative of those of your congregants.
I hope you will come to the truth before it is too late.”

Abrahimic? That’s just where mohamed started twisting the Word. The Word that scribes have been so meticulous to record.
