The immediate vandalism of the anti-Jihad ads shows that they have struck a nerve. The truth hurts and murderous Islamists who have been coddled and protected by the media for years are throwing tantrums when finally exposed.
Sadly, so many New Yorkers only getting one side of the situation, jump on the bandwagon of “yes, its racist and hateful.” Are these people even aware of the ongoing and unrelenting Jihadist rape, mob action, kidnapping, torture, suppression of minorities, murder, etc, etc- that goes on all over the world?
The media is so biased, I have to question how honest they were with this report. How many New Yorkers interviewed for this segment- actually SUPPORTED the ads, but newsbites of them did NOT get on the television?
Okay Atlas readers in New York City… if ANY of you see these tv news camera crews along the subways doing segments on this issue… by all means, get up there and get interiewed. It would be interesting to see that YES, we know pro-ad citizens were interviewed by the media; butTHEY WERE NOT TELEVISED.
I cannot believe that New Yorkers who had their city victimized by terrorists on 9/11 and then had numerous other attempted terrorism acts thwarted… would ALL SAY THEY ARE AGAINST THE PRO-ISRAELI ADS! These news reporters did night FIND any New Yorkers who would support the ads and denounce the vandalism?
Strange. The New Yorkers I know would have a different opinion. How convenient the CBS news coverage only found anti-ad, “criticism of Jihad equals racism” rant.

What all these ostrich’s around here have failed to comprehend is that there has already been a SEA CHANGE in relations between the West and the Muslim world. Our pitifully lame MSM likes to call it “The Arab Spring” — a bizarre and grotesque misnomer.
The new reality is that we are now on the defensive vis-a-vis the larger culture of Islam across North Africa and the Middle East as well as inside every formerly civilized European nation and inside our own borders, government and society. We have to stand up for ourselves and our freedoms in the most visible ways we can. These ads are exactly the kind of statement of defiance we need to stand behind united against the tyranny that virulent radical militant Islam wants to bury us under.

The posters are a subtle attack on Israel and the Jewish people, not Islam or Muslims.
They create a distasteful attack using insults instead of facts – this immediately causes viewers to discredit and dislike the message of the poster.
They then call upon readers to support Israel specifically and not themes such as Freedom or Democracy in order to frame the conflict as something between Jihad and Israel, distancing it from the readers who are American.
The Stars of David are added for good measure so that no one can forget to implicate the Jewish population as involved in the ads – going a step further not just to undermine the support of the American people for Israel but to also cause animosity towards Jews as well. No one enjoys seeing attack ads – this is an attempt to portray America’s Jews as being hateful and racist to give plausibility to the idea that they want war and support apartheid policies in Israel.
There might be a small percentage of the population with whom these ads resonate but these people are most likely just racist and don’t need to be convinced to fight Jihad. The majority of the American populace however is most interested in more domestic issues such as the economy and as such will view these ads in the way described above.
So you are either a very clever anti-Semite or you have no understanding of marketing whatsoever and are doing a huge disservice to the peaceful people of the world, Jewish and not.
There are extremists in every community – the war for peace is not between any two religious groups but between those whose highest priority is love for their families and those whose highest priority is hate for others.

This isn’t just any vandalism. This is part of a sophisticated program to hide the content of the ads. The draw overs are well drawn and painted pictures. I don’t know if they are stickers or if someone showed up to paint them, but they didn’t just come up out of the spur of the moment like a kid with a can of spray paint. I wonder if the MTA is replacing the ads for free. Are they responsible for protecting the ads then? I heard more cops were stationed around the ads also. I wonder why they didn’t catch whoever was putting these stickers up. Maybe they were there to protect them while they did put the stickers up.
The detractors make up little rules, like you can say this and not that. You are walking on eggshells through a mine field because in fact, they just make up what is hate and what isn’t as they go along. They run you ragged with what you can and can’t say. That is why we are supposed to accept all free speech.
It reminds me of Westboro Baptist and how people hate their signs and messages and want to shut them up at any cost also. They have lawyers backing them as well. Without lawyers, it seems the whole operation of free speech would be swept under the rug at this point. Our liberties are hanging on by a thread. They will fall like dominoes once free speech is taken.
The lawyers are on the front lines of this battle, along with those who dare to still offend and speak out of the main steam. Like they say, if you don’t use it, you lose it. You must exercise your rights to keep your rights.
There are so many offensive ads, especially in NYC, that I probably wouldn’t even notice this ad. I ignore most ads. I would rather look at a rat running by than an ad. Most ads are selling cheap sex in the form of consumerism. They are selling materialistic values. A thought provoking ad shakes things up a bit.

PhillyCoder, that’s quite an analysis there of how anti-Israel the AFDI ad is! You must have seen the news reports about all the negative reactions and believed they were representative. Meanwhile President Obama has been bragging — at least until the recent terrorist attacks in Benghazi — about how he killed the greatest jihadi of them all, Osama Bin Laden, knowing that this was going to help him get elected by the majority of the American people.
Yet you believe the AFDI ads, which equate jihad with savagery and urge its defeat, will fail in their objective and will lead the rest of America to see America’s Jews as being hateful and racist. You’re probably too young to remember how Americans cheered the Israeli victory in the Six Day War, but perhaps you’ve heard of the reception given to Prime Minister Netanyahu by the U.S. Congress on 24-May-2011 when he rejected the return to 1967 borders and insisted “It’s absolutely vital that a Palestinian state be demilitarized.”
Now why would Netanyahu say that about such a peace-loving people? Why would he risk hurting the feeling of all Muslims by saying, “For the greatest danger facing humanity could soon be upon us: A militant Islamic regime armed with nuclear weapons. I support Pamela to the hilt in her work for free speech but I fear this ad demonstrates why others want to curb it. The wording is too direct and aggressive. An advertisement agency would have used imagery and a more subtle approach to get the message over. It was predicted that people would deface or tear the ads down and not all offenders would be Muslims. I hope Pamela will rework the ad before she puts them up in other cities.

I went to the Youtube CBS report to post support for Geller. When I tried to post I got their ERROR message. I believe Youtube has made it impossible to post because there is so much support for Geller.
I believe the people in power will intentionally do what they can to destroy supportive discussion that promotes us Americans & American culture. I believe Americans are under attack by the media, multculturisum, corporations, and our own government which is bought and paid for by the corporations. Corporations want MASSIVE numbers of consumers to profit off of, and they don’t care if they are savages. Savages who are imported into our country, destroying us while enriching the corporations & the savages at our expense.

Film these who vandalize these posters. If the law does not peruse them, take the law into are our hands. That will get their attention.
