Note to Bull O’Reilly: Islamic Supremacists Slaughter the Ahmadis

As promised, Bull O'Reilly had  (unbeknownst to him) a heretic on, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community spokesman Harris Zafar, to refute Wafa Sultan's appearance on his show last night describing her life being raised as a Muslim woman under the sharia in a Muslim country.

As if the horror Wafa Sultan experienced was …… subjective, or that the brutality, gender apartheid, oppression of women living in Muslim countries under the sharia is ….. somehow subjective, or the 96% of the women clitorectomized in Egypt is somehow …..subjective.

Wait, it gets better.

O'Reilly has an Ahmadiyya on to refute Wafa Sultan and that which is written and taught in the quran. What O'Reilly doesn't tell you (does he know?) is that the Ahmadiyya Muslims are a tiny sect, an offshoot, really, of a "reformed" religious movement founded in India near the end of the 19th century that does not recognize the muhammad as the final prophet. Ahmadi Muslims are slaughtered in Pakistan and persecuted by Muslims all over the world. Muslims see Ahmadis as, at best, "misguided," and at worst, apostates.

O'Reilly showed he has no clue about Islam. When he quoted the Qur'an's wife-beating verse (4:34), he called it "zero zero four, zero thirty-four," which indicated that he was reading it off the USC MSA online Qur'an website. He noted that this verse contained the word "beat" in connection with women, and added: "And later it was followed by a verse using the word 'scourge.'"

That's the same verse, Bull, not two different ones, one saying "beat" and the other "scourge." It's two translations of the same verse, one by Abdullah Yusuf Ali followed by one by Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall, at the USC MSA website.

Later, Bull referred to "the hadith," identifying it only as "zero eight, eight, number 3432." He didn't say, but it's from Sahih Muslim.

The clueless way O'Reilly cited these passages shows that he knows nothing about Islam, and yet he had the audacity to claim to Wafa Sultan last night that Muhammad would have disapproved of the Islamic mistreatment of women. How can he claim that when he has never read even a line of the Qur'an or Hadith?

Harris described the prescribed beating of women in the Qur'an as really talking about the "guardianship" of women, and referring to the man as head of household, and the protection and sustenance of the family — the wife and the mother as well. Got that, folks?

When O'Reilly referred to the hadith where "the prophet muhammad said raping a captive married woman is permissable," Zafar said, "that is not a valid hadith."  Zuhdi Jasser says the same thing when confronted by hadith and sunna that fly in the face of their fallacy.

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3432:
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah her pleased with him) reported that at the Battle of Hanain Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah's Messenger (may peace te upon him) seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:" And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (iv. 24)" (i. e. they were lawful for them when their 'Idda period came to an end).

Sahih Muslim is one of the two hadith collections considered most reliable by Muslims. Sahih Muslim and Sahih Bukhari are renowned for including no inauthentic or unreliable hadiths in their collections.

Safar said "She (Sultan) blames Islam …. true Islam as taught to us by the holy koran and the prophet muhmmad is a tolerant and humane faith and thats Islam that we, the Ahmadiiya Muslim community, not only follow but teach all over the world."

Yeah right.

And what up with the Ahmadis coming out to defend their slaughterers? It confounds that the media trots out the Ahmadis when they want to find "peaceful moderates," but they don't represent Islam or the ummah (the global Muslim community).
