“The ongoing Islamization in schools has now made it necessary to reinstall crosses in Linz” Translated from this:

300 crosses mysteriously disappeared from classrooms – city replaces them
The ongoing Islamization in schools has now made it necessary to reinstall crosses in Linz. Around 300 crucifixes were independently taken down from classrooms and have vanished without a trace.
ADVERTISEMENTA statement from the City of Linz does not address at all the issue of how the crosses seemingly disappeared as if by magic. Instead, the matter is even presented positively, because the 300 crosses now needed for classrooms in compulsory schools are being produced in the workshop of Lebenshilfe Unterweißenbach.
Law requires crosses in classrooms
Freedom Party city councilor Michael Raml also welcomed the contract being awarded to Lebenshilfe, saying it would make an important contribution to the inclusion of people with disabilities. At the same time, he pointed out that the cross is not only the most important Christian symbol, but also a sign of our history and tradition.
Raml recalled that the Upper Austrian Compulsory School Organization Act clearly stipulates that crosses must be displayed in all classrooms of elementary schools, middle schools, special schools, polytechnic schools, and vocational schools: “Mayor Dietmar Prammer (SPÖ) and the Upper Austrian Directorate of Education therefore have a clear legal mandate to ensure that a cross hangs in every classroom. The City of Linz is now fulfilling this task through a social initiative. This is expressly to be welcomed,” Raml emphasized.
Call for clarification to teachers
ADVERTISEMENTAt the same time, Raml demanded that the mayor and the Directorate of Education issue a clarification to teachers and school staff that the removal of crosses, as had repeatedly occurred in Linz schools in the past, must no longer happen in the future:
The cross belongs to our culture, our history, and our schools. Teachers must be able to separate their personal ideological views from their professional responsibilities. Existing laws must be respected by everyone — regardless of political or ideological beliefs.
