Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran after a response from Iran that included a guarantee from them of opening the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran has already broken the ceasefire.
Borrom line is – we must finish the job.
An heartbreaking message from inside Iran 💔

Wall Street Journal: President Trump said he agreed to suspend attacks on Iran for two weeks subject to the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, pointing to progress on a 10-point proposal from Tehran. The U.S. has halted all offensive operations in Iran, according to a senior U.S. official. Stock futures surged and oil prices fell sharply on the news…. Iran’s government signaled its intention to continue asserting influence over Hormuz. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that for two weeks “safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran’s Armed Forces and with due consideration of technical limitations” (Wall Street Journal).

The UAE and Saudi Arabia urged Trump not to agree to a ceasefire, stating that there will not be peace as long as the regime still exists.
They are spot on.

More from President Trump’s post on Truth Social: This will be a double-sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated (Truth).
Mark Dubowitz sums up the two lists of demands—from Trump and from Iran: Planetary distances apart (Dubowitz).

As an Iranian, let me tell you what @POTUS is talking about here:
In Iran, if you protest, you die. Not metaphorically. Snipers on rooftops shoot people in the head and chest. In January, the regime massacred thousands in the streets, many of them young people whose only crime… https://t.co/kRokYKyq0I

This is a stressful night for all Iranians. My family and I have huddled together, having spent all our money stocking up on non-spoiling necessities. We're now completely out of funds as people are not getting paid. Unsure what the next few hours will bring — but we are as ready… pic.twitter.com/bEXM6JftcI
