Pam Bondi has been fired as attorney general, according to Fox News. Trump is cleaning house and I am loving it. Bondi squandered it all – no indictments for Russiagate ussia-Gate co-conspirators, election theft, January 6th fed set up ….
EPA Director Lee Zeldin is reportedly under consideration to replace her.
According to Fox, President Trump met in the Oval Office with Bondi before his speech last night.
“One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi had already lost her job and was on her way back to Florida,” Fox News reported.
Bondi’s firing comes after she was heavily criticized for the handling of the Epstein files.
Bondi was not merely an intelligence failure, but a wholesale failure of leadership. We need to understand not only what happened, but how it happened to ensure it does not ever happen again.

President Trump told Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday that she would be out as head of the Department of Justice, a source with knowledge of the conversation told The Post on Thursday.

Bondi was at the White House to attend Trump’s address to the nation on the Iran war, and earlier had accompanied the president to the Supreme Court to watch oral arguments in a major birthright citizenship case.
Fox News said Trump will replace Bondi with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche as the interim attorney general.
Trump is expected to soon make a formal announcement.
The White House did not directly address the report, but pointed The Post to a quote from the president praising Bondi.

A rep for the former congressman from New York did not comment on whether Trump had spoken to Zeldin about a possible new job.Semafor on Thursday first reported that Bondi had been told her time was running out as Trump’s top prosecutor.
Trump has expressed frustration previously with Bondi’s lack of aggressiveness in prosecuting foes, such as former FBI director James Comey, and the White House’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

White House chief of staff Susie Wiles had previously told Vanity Fair in an interview published last December that Bondi had “completely whiffed” the DOJ’s release of investigative materials on the deceased sex criminal. It started when Bondi welcomed right-wing influencers to the White House and presented them with binders titled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” in February 2025, as part of an effort signaling radical transparency on the government’s decade-long probe of the pedophile.
Epstein, 66, died in a Manhattan lockup while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking girls — some as young as 14 years old. Multiple investigations later ruled the death a suicide.

His association with rich and influential politicians, foreign officials, business leaders, celebrities and academics led to frenzied speculation that he may have blackmailed them by putting them in compromising situations with the younger women often seen in his company.Trump pledged to release a purported “client list” if re-elected during his 2024 presidential campaign.
A week before the influencer summit, the AG even told Fox News that the list of Epstein’s “clients” was “sitting on my desk right now to review.”

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend and longtime associate, is the only other person to be convicted of sex crimes involving Epstein. She is currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence in Texas.

Backlash to the DOJ-FBI memo led to a congressional investigation of Epstein records in the government’s possession — and the passage of a law in November compelling their disclosures.“I think she completely whiffed on appreciating that that was the very targeted group that cared about this,” Wiles told journalist Chris Whipple of Bondi in an interview released the following month.
“First she gave them binders full of nothingness. And then she said that the witness list, or the client list, was on her desk. There is no client list, and it sure as hell wasn’t on her desk.”
