The Minnesota State Legislature is in session and is considering a bill to age-restrict access to pornography. State Rep. Leigh Finke, a transgender Democrat, argued in committee that restricting access to pornography would limit kids’ ability to get educated about gender issues. Leigh Finke: You mentioned the Paxton case. Um, and, and the ags in many states are, are very clear about that. They’re almost jubilant about being able to use these laws to ban young people from accessing content that could be educational if they are queer. And you are a principal, you have LGBT students in your school. And we also knew, know that they’re not receiving sex education for queer kids. We know that prurient interest, um, could be for many people the very existence of transgender kids. More and more people are saying there simply are no transgender kids. (Libs of TikTok)
