“DADDY, I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO DIE”: New Court Docs Reveal Church Rioters Blocked Stairwells, Trapped Families, Terrorized Children During Sunday Mass Invasion

Disturbing new details have emerged about the far-left mob that stormed a Sunday church service at Cities Church in St. Paul, exposing an incident far more terrifying than initially reported. Democrat-aligned protesters forced their way into the church during worship, targeting the congregation over false claims that the pastor supported immigration authorities.

CHURCH TERROR: DOJ To Investigate Storming of Church, Targeting Families, Children at Sunday Mass

According to witnesses, agitators blocked stairwells, preventing parents from reaching their children attending Sunday School. Mothers were left panicked and helpless as chaos unfolded inside what should have been a place of safety and refuge. One boy cried to his dad: “I thought you were going to die.”

Even more alarming, one protester reportedly harassed a child directly, telling them: “Do you know your parents are Nazis? They’re going to burn in hell.” The verbal abuse of children crossed a line that shocks the conscience.

The invasion of Cities Church was not a protest—it was intimidation, terror, and ideological violence aimed at families and children. Yet once again, political leaders and media outlets that routinely decry “threats to democracy” remain conspicuously silent when the victims are ordinary Americans targeted by the radical left.

Joe Rigney: This brazen invasion of a Christian worship gathering demonstrates the lawlessness of the modern left. Not content to disrupt lawful law enforcement activity, they have now resorted to targeting law enforcement officers, their families, and anyone connected to them, even in a house of worship. And they are breaking the law by invading a church in order to defend those who broke the law by invading our country (World).

Newly unsealed federal court documents reveal chilling details about the January 18 invasion of Cities Church in St. Paul, exposing an episode of terror that left families traumatized and children fearing for their lives.

According to sworn testimony cited by Homeland Security Investigations, agitators blocked stairwells, preventing parents from reaching their children in Sunday School as protesters screamed, shoved, and aggressively confronted parishioners. One agitator screamed directly into the faces of women and young children, continuing even as children cried.

Witnesses told investigators they feared the agitators were armed. As shouting escalated, parishioners heard protesters yelling “shoot,” triggering panic, people running, children crying, and families believing a mass shooting was imminent.

One protester allegedly confronted a child, telling them: “Do you know your parents are Nazis? They’re going to burn in hell.” Another child later told his father, “Daddy, I thought you were going to die.” Federal agents reported that the family now fears retaliatory violence at their home and acknowledged that their children are traumatized.

Based on the evidence, a federal magistrate found probable cause to believe the named defendants violated federal civil rights statutes. What occurred inside Cities Church was not a protest—it was intimidation, confinement, and psychological terror inflicted on families and children during worship.
