That comes via Israel’s channel 12: An Israeli security official just said if Iran attacks, there won’t be another round after that. No back and forth, no limits. According to the official, Israel would move to bring down the Iranian regime entirely.
Israel has moved to its highest state of military readiness as tensions with Iran escalate amid indications of a potential U.S. strike. The Israeli Air Force and the country’s air defense systems are on heightened alert, preparing for the possibility of an Iranian missile barrage and readying retaliatory options if Tehran launches long-range attacks.
Israeli officials stress that while a U.S. strike on Iran would not automatically trigger Iranian retaliation against Israel, the risk of escalation is being taken seriously. The IDF is maintaining maximum preparedness nationwide, with the expectation that any Iranian move against Israel would be met with a significant Israeli response.

IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin sought to reassure the public, emphasizing that there has been no change to Home Front Command guidelines and urging Israelis to rely only on official IDF updates. He confirmed that the chief of staff has been conducting continuous situation assessments and has ordered readiness levels to be bolstered, underscoring that the IDF is monitoring developments closely and is prepared for any scenario.
Israel Hayom: Against the backdrop of threats by US President Donald Trump, Israel’s security establishment, with particular emphasis on the Israeli Air Force, has shifted to its highest state of readiness amid indications of a looming US strike on Iran. Israel’s air defense array has raised its alert level nationwide and is preparing for the possibility of a heavy Iranian barrage directed at Israel. At the same time, the Israeli Air Force is preparing potential retaliatory strikes should Iran make what Israeli officials describe as a grave mistake by launching long-range surface-to-surface missiles at Israel (Israel Hayom).
On Sunday, Iran had threatened Israel that they would retaliate towards the Jewish state if the US hit them (Times of Israel).
