Bondi Beach Jihad Attack: Islamic State-Linked Plotters Recorded Antisemitic Videos — 15 Dead, 40 Wounded”

Islamic Jew hatred is a central tenet of Islam.

“The accused is recorded appearing to recite, in Arabic, a passage from the Quran,” the filing states. So what is the left-wing government’s response? To criminalize criticism of Islam.

Australian authorities have laid terrorism charges in the Bondi Beach massacre, revealing that the attacker meticulously planned the assault, recorded videos pledging to murder Jews and embraced jihadist ideology before opening fire in a crowded public area. Fifteen people were killed and at least 40 wounded in what investigators say was a deliberate, ideologically driven act of Islamic terror targeting Jews. The case underscores once again that antisemitic jihad is not an abstract threat but a lethal, global reality — and that Western governments continue to underestimate the danger until blood is already on the ground.

As for the term Islamist, I must repeat:
The term “Islamist” is largely a euphemistic invention, not a meaningful analytical distinction. In practice, it functions as linguistic insulation: a way for journalists, academics, and officials to describe violence, supremacism, and political domination rooted directly in Islamic texts and doctrine while avoiding responsibility for naming Islam itself as the source. Saying “Islamist” instead of “Islamic” changes nothing about the beliefs, motivations, or scriptural justifications involved; it merely reassures polite society that Islam as a religion has been rhetorically spared.

At bottom, the distinction exists to protect sensibilities, not to clarify reality. When attackers cite the Quran, invoke jihad, target Jews as religious enemies, and justify murder through Islamic law and precedent, calling the violence “Islamist” rather than “Islamic” is semantic laundering — an exercise in denial, not precision.

  • “Islamist” is a Western euphemism, not an indigenous Islamic category.

  • No equivalent exists for other faiths because no other major religion embeds a comprehensive political-legal system claiming divine supremacy over the state in the same way.

  • The term functions rhetorically, not analytically: it is designed to shield Islam from scrutiny, not to clarify motives or doctrine.

As you note, Islamic law (Sharia)—as developed across both Sunni and Shi’ite madhahib—has always treated religion, governance, law, warfare, and social order as inseparable. The idea that Islam is merely a “spiritual” faith compatible with secular liberal democracy is not rooted in Islamic jurisprudence; it is a post-Enlightenment Western projection imposed from the outside.

The ISIS-loving father-son duo accused of carrying out the antisemitic Bondi Beach massacre had amassed an arsenal of homemade pipe and “tennis ball bombs” and railed against “Zionists” in the lead up to the terror attack, newly released court documents reveal.

The detailed preparations and alleged motives of Sajid Akram, 50, and his 24-year-old son Naveed Akram were laid bare in court papers made public on Monday after the pair were accused of slaughtering 15 and injuring dozens more at a Hanukkah celebration on Dec. 14.

On the day of the mass shooting, the pair were caught on surveillance video carrying long and bulky items that were wrapped in blankets from an AirBnb they rented in Campsie – a neighborhood in Sydney’s southwest – that served as their planning base, cops allege.

Police believe the items wrapped up were the cache of weapons they allegedly stockpiled for the attack — including two shotguns, a Beretta rifle, three pipe bombs, a tennis ball bomb and a large improvised explosive device.

The hate-filled duo are accused of hurling the pipe and tennis ball bombs at the crowd of Jewish worshippers who had gathered at the famed beach to celebrate Hanukkah — but the devices failed to detonate, the court documents state.

Moments after hurling the IEDs, the Akrams then allegedly opened fire from a nearby footbridge, which provided them an elevated vantage point and the protection of waist-high concrete walls, according to the police files.

Police allege they uncovered 3D printed parts for a shotgun component, as well as bomb making equipment and copies of the Quran, at the rented home in the wake of the attack.Investigators later recovered a cellphone video recorded in October where the two men allegedly justified the meticulously planned attack as they were flanked by rifles and an Islamic State flag, authorities allege.
