To cheers and standing ovations, Trump addressed the Knesset,
Israel’s parliament, a rare and singular privilege, on the day the hostages were released from Hamas.
The “cruelty of October 7 struck the heart of humanity,” and the US mourned alongside Israel, Trump said, adding that “Because of us, the long and painful nightmare is finally over.”
The remaining 20 Israeli hostages who are alive were released earlier and are now on Israeli soil. Israel begins release of hundreds of Palestinian terrorists.
Trump’s hour-long speech gives much praise to Israel, he made little comment on “Palestinians”.
“October 7th shocked humanity. The people of Israel should know that the U.S. joins your call to never forget and never again.”
“The story of fierce Israeli resolve and triumph since October 7th should be proof to the entire world that those who seek to destroy this nation are doomed to bitter failure.”
The State of Israel is strong and it will live and thrive forever.”
“The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace, a land and a region that will live, God willing, in peace for all eternity.”
“We have gathered here to thank the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…
This is not just the end of the war, it’s the end of the age of terror.
It’s going to be the golden age of Israel and the Middle East.”

“It should now be clear to everyone throughout the region that decades of fomenting terrorism, extremism, jihadism and antisemitism have not worked…
From Gaza to Iran, bitter hatreds have delivered nothing but misery, suffering, failure, and death.”
But those who chose peace?
“Those nations that set aside their differences… are now among the most successful in the region.”
President Trump invokes Scripture before the Israeli Knesset in a powerful, history-making address—laying out his vision for lasting peace.
A turn from evil, toward peace.

President Trump then asks Netanyahu to stand and says:
“He’s not easy to work with, but that’s what makes him great.
Thank you, Bibi. You’ve done a wonderful job.”
Truly a goosebumps moment.
President Trump closes his historic Knesset address with a vision that left the entire chamber on its feet.
Before the applause thundered through the Knesset, he gave Israel—and the world—a glimpse of what lasting peace could look like.

“We’re going to forge a future that is worthy of our heritage. We’re going to build a legacy that all people of this region can be proud of, new bonds of friendship cooperation, and commerce… we will have hope, harmony, opportunity and happiness here in the spiritual and geographic center of the entire world, that is what you are, Israel, America and all of the nations of the Middle East will be safer, stronger and more prosperous than ever before.
President Donald J. Trump closing his historic speech:
“Israel will live and thrive forever. I love Israel. I’m with you all the way. You will be bigger, better, stronger, and more loving than ever before. God bless you, God bless the United States of America.”
Preparations are underway at Gaza’s border to ramp up aid entering the war-battered territory.
