UPDATE: ASSASSINATED: The Great Charlie Kirk Shot Dead
Charlie Kirk is a conservative media personality and co-founder of Turning Point USA. Kirk was visiting Utah Valley University on Wednesday when he was shot. President Donald Trump confirmed the death of Kirk on Wednesday in a Truth Social post.

FOX: School officials said gunshots were fired from the top of the Losee Center on campus, which is approximately 200 yards from where Kirk was speaking.
The shooting occurred about 20 minutes into Kirk’s speech. His condition is currently unknown.
In a social media post, FBI Director Kash Patel said his agency is monitoring the shooting.

Charlie Kirk was shot at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on Wednesday.
Bystanders report seeing Kirk shot near his neck during a Q&A with students.
“A single shot was fired on campus toward a visiting speaker. Police are investigating now, suspect in custody,” an alert from UVU said.
