India Terminates Visas for All Pakistani Citizens After Deadly Islamic Terror Attack
India has blocked the flow of the Indus River towards Pakistan. Pakistan has warned that such a blockade would be regarded as an act of war.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar defended the brutal jihadis behind the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, in which 27 tourists were killed.
Dar, speaking to reporters in Islamabad, suggested that those involved could be seen as “freedom fighters.”
“Those who carried out attacks in Pahalgam might be freedom fighters,” Dar said, prompting a sharp backlash in India.

He further warned that any military move by India would be met with equal force. “If Pakistan is attacked directly, there will be a tit-for-tat response,” he added.
India has completely cut off water flow to Pakistan from the Salal and Pakal Dul hydroelectric projects on the Chenab River.

India has closed all four sluice gates that control the flow of water through dams and canals, the first time since the Indus Waters Treaty was concluded in 1960.
Islamabad had earlier suspended all trade with New Delhi and closed its airspace to its airlines. India announced the expulsion of all Pakistani citizens, the cancellation of their visas and the closure of its border with the country.
Ambassador of Israel to India, Reuven Azar says, “We extended our condolences for the terrible attack that happened here. This is a watershed moment. We stand with India; it’s a very important moment. And of course, we discussed things of mutual concern that have to do both with fight against terrorism. We have a great cooperation, we are great partners. We are looking forward for more cooperation both bilaterally, regionally and globally.”
