President Trump just straight up told Zelenskyy to his face that he has too much hatred in his heart for Putin.

“You see the hatred he’s got for Putin. It’s very tough for me to make a deal with that kind of hate. He’s got tremendous hatred. And I understand that. But I can tell you the other side isn’t exactly in love with, you know, him either.”

VP Vance says it was “disrespectful for Zelenskyy to come into the Oval Office, litigating in front of the American media.”

“You’re gambling with WWIII,” Trump says.

Vance to Zelenskyy: “Have you said thank you once? You went to Pennsylvania to campaign for the opposition.”

President Donald Trump accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of “gambling with World War III” as a meeting in the Oval Office turned tense.

Trump raised his voice with Zelenskyy, telling him “you’re not really in [a] good position right now” after Vance called Zelenskyy “disrespectful” for litigating the conflict in front of the American media.

Vance raised old slights from the campaign trail, including criticizing Zelenskyy of going on a campaign visit with Democrats in Pennsylvania and not thanking the US.

“You’re running low on soldiers . . . then you’re telling us you don’t want a ceasefire,” Trump said.

Trump tells Zelensky he’s gambling with WWIII in heated Oval Office meeting

WASHINGTON — President Trump told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he was “gambling with World War III” during a fiery Oval Office exchange Friday.

The high-stakes visit went off the rails shortly after Vice President JD Vance tore into Zelensky for seeming to slight his American counterparts.

The VP said it was “disrespectful for Zelensky to come into the Oval Office, litigating in front of the American media” — setting off a shouting match among the men.

“Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems, you should be thanking the president for wanting to bring an end to the conflict,” Vance said.

“Have you ever been to Ukraine? Have you seen the problems we have?” Zelensky asked, later adding that “you will feel things.”

Vance fired back that Ukraine was bringing Americans on a “propaganda tour,” while Trump warned his Kyiv counterpart: “Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel.”

“We’re trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. You are in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel. We’re going to feel very good. We’re going to feel very good and very strong. You’re right now not in a very good position… and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country that’s backed you far more than a lot of people say they should.”

“Have you said thank you once?” Vance pressed. “No… You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October. Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who’s trying to save your country.”

After Zelensky accused Vance of “speaking loudly,” Trump cut in again.

“He’s not speaking loudly. Your country is in big trouble,” the president said, telling Zelensky “no, no, you’ve done a lot of talking” as he tried to interject.

” Your country is in big trouble. You’re not winning, you’re not winning this. You have a damn good chance of coming out OK because of us”

As Zelensky again attempted to interrupt, Trump raged on.

“We gave you, through this stupid president [Joe Biden], $350 billion. We gave you military equipment… If you didn’t have our military equipment, if you didn’t have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks.”

“You have to be thankful,” Trump went on, telling Zelensky: “You don’t have the cards.

Financial Times reports:

Trump says Zelenskyy is ‘gambling with world war three’ in Oval Office clash

US President Donald Trump has accused Volodymyr Zelenskyy of “gambling with world war three” as a White House meeting on ending the war in Ukraine devolved into a tense dispute.

Raising his voice at Zelenskyy, Trump said: “You’re not really in [a] good position right now.”

Vice-president JD Vance said: “Do you think that it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?”

Zelenskyy has been seeking a seat at the negotiating table after Trump blindsided Kyiv and other European capitals by launching direct talks with Putin over ending the conflict.

Trump said on Friday the Ukrainian president “will have to make compromises”, adding that Kyiv “will not go back to fighting” if a peace deal is struck, according to early media reports from their meeting.

The leaders are also set to sign a minerals deal that would set up a joint US-Ukrainian “investment fund” that would receive 50 per cent of all revenues from the “future monetisation” of natural resources owned by Kyiv.

The text lacks explicit US security guarantees that Zelenskyy had sought, but Trump has said the presence of American workers and economic interests in Ukraine would be a sufficient deterrent to possible Russian aggression.

On Friday, Trump described the deal as “very fair”.

Here is the enitre thing:

Here is the full 50-minute conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky.

There are a lot of politicians claiming Zelensky was “ambushed.”

There was a full 40 minutes of dialogue before the “fireworks” started.

The president insisted throughout the first 40 minutes that he was focused on peace.

Zelensky responded by strongly pushing back on a ceasefire with Russia and demanded that Putin pay for the entire war.

JD Vance jumps in at the 40-minute mark to clarify the difference between Trump and Biden and their approach to the war.

This apparently ticked off Zelensky which is when the fireworks started.
