On Tuesday, staffers at Politico were notified that a ‘technical error’ had prevented paychecks from going out. Many joked that this had something to do with the Trump administration putting a freeze on USAID funding.

According to the Columbia Journalism Review, USAID supported 6,200 journalists, 707 news outlets and 279 media sector civil society organizations in 30 different countries.
No wonder the news all sounds the same.

Massive Press Scandal As USAID Funding for ‘Politico’ Revealed, and It Gets Worse From There

With the white-hot light of accountability firmly on USAID, more and more details are coming out about what your taxpayer money was being spent on. From transgender comic books to promoting Moroccan pottery classes, to propagandizing Sri Lankan journalists on the supposed evils of “gender-binary” language, the level of waste and corruption is hard to fathom.
Below is just a small sample of the inexcusable far-left excesses that were funded by hard-working Americans, many of which can barely make ends meet after four years of the Biden administration.

Things are about to get much worse, though, so buckle up. According to recently revealed records, left-leaning news outlet Politico received over thirty-four million dollars from USAID and other government agencies. That money went to pay for “subscriptions” for various bureaucratic officials, including “pro” subscriptions that add up to over $10,000 a pop.

A breakdown of some of the expenditures shows USAID paid $443,998 for just 37 subscriptions to Politico for FDA officials. Another outlay for “subscriptions” cost $862,025.

And while there’s no evidence the two are linked, the suggestion prompted internet sleuths to look into Politico‘s sources of funding. What they found was absolutely shocking.
According to government spending tracker website USASPENDING.gov, Politico – which laundered the Hunter Biden ’51 intel officials’ propaganda during the 2020 election – received up to $27 million (and by some counts $32 million) from various US agencies during the Biden years.

Of note, Politico was sold to German media giant Axel Springer (which also owns Business Insider) for $1 billion in 2021, meaning US taxpayer dollars have been flowing to the German media giant to prop up their US propaganda rags.
And look at this, the NY Times received $3.1 million in taxpayer funds, while the UK’s BBC received $3.2 million.
