Sweden: Islam-Critic Salwan Momika Murdered By Muslim Terrorists During Live-Stream

Where are the protests? The outcry? The abject horror by civilized people? Make no mistake, the left supports the persecution of those of us who speak out against jihad terror, sharia, and the violent texts and teachings of the Quran. I have been the target of multiple assassination attempts. And the reaction of the Democrat media axis was despicable.

Ironically, Salwan Momika fled to Europe to escape Islam.

Salwan said “I burned Quran and stand against lslam because it’s a danger for humanity.”

And it wasn’t just the Muslims who tormented and harassed him. The left wing Swedish government charged him with “incitement to hatred” – Western-speak for sharia law (blasphemy).

Morocco World News reported back in 2024 that “Sweden is set to deport Salwan Momika, the controversial man behind last year’s Quran-burning protests, as local reports indicate that a Swedish court has upheld the deportation order against the controversial man.” On Friday, Momika wrote: “My extradition to Iraq means that Sweden will participate in my execution, and that it will be the turn of the rest of those who stand against the Islamization of the West.” Exactly so. But does anyone Sweden or elsewhere in the West care?

Momika added: “The persecution I am subjected to in Sweden is tantamount to defending Islam and supporting the project of Islamizing Sweden and the West, granting asylum and protecting Islamists, and while those who criticize Islam are expelled and persecuted, this means that the law on freedom of expression is in real danger and Islamic values ​​may be imposed on Western societies and the application of Sharia law. Islamism will inevitably come to them unless we take action.” Well, it’s quite clear that the laws on freedom of expression are indeed in danger. If they weren’t, Momika wouldn’t be facing deportation; he would be being feted and lionized as a hero in Sweden.

Sweden: Freedom fighter Salwan Momika, who burned the Qur’an several times, has been murdered

The way the pusillanimous and cowardly governments of Sweden and Norway treated Salwan Momika was shameful, and a significant signpost on their way to cultural destruction and the embrace of Sharia. He should have been protected as a hero of the freedom of expression, daring to risk his life to call attention to the oppression and violence that is carried out in accord with Qur’anic teaching. Instead, he was persecuted by both countries, vilified, exposed to danger, denounced, and now murdered. Salwan Momika’s fate demonstrates in microcosm what will happen to freedom in both countries.

Salwan Momika was also proof in himself that criticism of the Qur’an is not “racist” or “Islamophobic.” He was Iraqi. He knew what the Qur’an does to human beings. He experienced it. When he was shot dead, he experienced it again. Yet Sweden treated him shabbily, while celebrating and coddling those who bayed for his blood.

STOCKHOLM (AP) — An Iraqi man who carried out several Quran burnings in Sweden has died, a judge in Stockholm said Thursday. Swedish media reported that he was killed in a shooting in a nearby city.

Salwan Momika, 38, staged several burnings and desecrations of Islam’s holy book in Sweden in 2023. Videos of the Quran burnings got worldwide publicity and raised anger and criticism in several Muslim nations, leading to riots and unrest in many places.

The Stockholm District Court said a verdict scheduled Thursday in a trial in which Momika was a defendant was postponed because one of the defendants had died. A judge at the court, Göran Lundahl, confirmed that the deceased was Momika. He said he didn’t have any information on when and how Momika died.

Police said they were alerted to a shooting Wednesday night at an apartment building in Sodertalje, near Stockholm, and found a man with gunshot wounds. He later died, and a preliminary murder investigation was opened.

Broadcaster SVT reported, without naming sources, that the victim was Momika. It said Momika came to Sweden from Iraq in 2018 and was granted a three-year residence permit in 2021….

Momika argued that his protests targeted the religion of Islam, not Muslim people. He argued that he wanted to protect Sweden’s population from the messages of the Quran. Swedish police allowed his demonstrations, citing freedom of speech, while filing charges against him.

Last March, he was arrested in neighboring Norway, after stating that he would seek asylum there, and was sent back to Sweden, TT reported.

Momika and a co-defendant were charged in August with incitement to hatred because of statements they made in connection with the Quran burnings. A verdict was supposed to be handed down on Thursday morning.
