Considering how pro-Israel and anti-jihad President Trump is, this might appear to be a headscratcher. I think not. The handwriting is on the wall. Too big to rig is looking more likely, so it would be self-defeating to completely alienate your community from the powers that be. Jump on the train before it’s too late.
That or they did it to hurt Trump.

Michigan Muslim leaders endorse Trump for his commitment to ‘peace’ and ‘promoting family values’

There are several things going on here, and several other possibilities at play as well. Many Muslim leaders are enraged with Biden-Harris for not abandoning Israel. These men may be among them, as the imam Belal Alzuhairi suggests when he says: “We are supporting Donald Trump because he promised to end war in the Middle East and Ukraine.” Trump has said that he will end the wars, and these Muslim leaders may be hoping that he will do so in a way that will enable Hamas and Hizballah to survive and not set back the jihad against Israel as far as it looks now as if he is going to be set back. This hope, however, requires ignoring Trump’s pro-Israel record, and the fact that he is much more pro-Israel than the pro-jihad Biden-Harris regime.
It is remotely possible that these imams are simply not doctrinaire and not interested in the jihad against Israel or the U.S. That’s possible, as Alzuhairi praises Trump’s commitment to a strong United States. It could also be that they believe Islam will flourish more in a strong America than in the chaotic one Biden-Harris have given us. Given the current cultural climate, neither candidate is even close to doing anything to restrict the growth of the influence of Sharia or the practice of Sharia provisions such as female genital mutilation and polygamy in the U.S. So Alzuhairi may have a point.
The Muslim leaders may also be looking at the possibility of a Trump victory, and hoping they can gain some influence over him that will induce him to ease up on his support for Israel.
These Muslim leaders are also angry at Biden-Harris for embracing every imaginable delusion and perversion (and some that were previously unimaginable). They like Trump’s “commitment to promoting family values and protected our children wellbeing, especially when it comes to curriculums and schools,” that is, they like that he won’t be forcing schools to showcase and celebrate deviance. Nor will he be likely to shovel money to LGBT groups, trans madness, and the like. This is another indication of the fraying of the leftist/Islamic alliance that we have noted many times here.

A group of Michigan’s Muslim leaders endorsed former President Donald Trump at his rally on Saturday, noting that Trump “promises peace, not war.”
During Trump’s Saturday rally in Novi, Michigan, several Muslim leaders, including Imam Belal Alzuhairi, declared that they support Trump because they believe Trump is the man who can end the wars and bring peace to the Middle East and Ukraine.
Alzuhairi added that they were also supporting Trump because of his “commitment to promoting family values,” adding that they “agree” with Trump about having a strong border.
“We as Muslims stand with President Trump because he promises peace,” Alzuhairi told the rally crowd. “He promises peace, not war. We are supporting Donald Trump because he promised to end war in the Middle East and Ukraine. The bloodshed has to stop all over the world, and I think this man can make that happen.”
“I personally believe that God has saved his life twice for a reason,” Alzuhairi added.”I believe personally that God has saved his life for a reason, which is to save the lives of others. We support Donald J. Trump for his commitment to promoting family values and protected our children wellbeing, especially when it comes to curriculums and schools. We as Muslims support this man because we believe that he will be a president for all Americans, embracing every race, color, and religion. We are with President Trump because we want a strong border, and we agree with President Trump that anyone who wants to come to this country is welcome, but he has to do that through legal pathway.”…
Trump has previously been endorsed by Hamtramck Mayor Ameer Ghalib, and he appeared at a press conference with him on October 18….
