Yesterday,Ken Bensinger of the @nytimes released a bizarre piece aimed at protecting the ability of noncitizens to participate in American elections.

First let's get to know @kenbensinger, formerly of Buzzfeed, a little.
He is their "right wing media" reporter and has been covering our work for some time.

Ken couldn’t even make it through the title without lying.
Notice how he uses the term “voters” when we were talking about noncitizens who were registered.

Ken stakes his credibility on an noncitizen named Marta who told us on camera that she was (1) a noncitizen and (2) registered to vote.
He claims she lied to us because she was afraid of being deported.

He also couldn’t even get retractions from more than half the noncitizens who admitted to being registered.

He also deceptively includes sourcing from @GaSecofState that misleads people to believe that the noncitizens are not registered.
But they did not conclude that!
They said they don’t know and only checked the records from that address.

Ken repeatedly throws out conclusory lies without any evidence to suggest that anything we have done has been in the slightest bit been debunked.

Here he says investigators were “often peering from behind half-closed doors”

Ken weirdly lies about a clearly disprovable claim regarding statistics.
He claims we held up the response rate as some scientific, dispositive claim that could be extrapolated with exactitude.

He then claims we deleted a video of a twitter space.
We honestly have no clue what he is talking about and had he asked we would have told him.
We’ve deleted nothing.
He’s trying to create some impression in the readers mind that isn’t true.

He takes a shot at us and says @oversightpr “conducts what it describes as investigations into immigration policy.”
They are investigations. Better than yours.

Here he tries to create the impression that 56 million people may not have watched our video by saying “according to X statistics.”
