An unexpected plot twist to be sure. But there is no actual reason for Sunni Jordan to be interested in aiding Shi’ite Iran’s war aims. They may both hate Israel, but King Abdullah likely also hates the idea of Shi’ite domination of the Middle East.

To be fair … if the King supported Israel … his life would be over in 24 hours.
And … if he gave in to the Fakestinians … his regime would fall in 24 days.
Talk about ruling under the Sword of Damocles …
So this move is rather ‘adult’ of him. One can be cynical and say he’s only trying to ride the fence, but Israel can use a frienemy right now with all the enemies they have …
… including the Demokkkraptic party.

Jordon should stay out of the war, because they might be included in Israel’s retaliation.
