Home Foreclosures Soar Nationwide

So confident is the Democrat party of treason in their running dogs in the media (and election rigging) that they are running on how great the economy is.

The Associated Press and other government stooges are running with it:

President Joe Biden opened a new line of attack against former President Donald Trump on Wednesday, asking and answering the classic “are you better off today than you were four years ago” question to remind voters of what it was like when Trump was in office.

Home foreclosures are soaring nationwide – and rising fastest in these 5 states

By Megan Henney FOX Business, March 15, 2024:

Home foreclosures rose again in February as Americans continue to grapple with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

That is according to a new report published by real estate data provider ATTOM, which found that there were 32,938 properties in February with foreclosure filings, which includes default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions. That marks an 8% increase from the prior year, although it is down 1% from the previous month.

“The annual uptick in U.S. foreclosure activity hints at shifting dynamics within the housing market,” said ATTOM CEO Rob Barber. “These trends could signify evolving financial landscapes for homeowners, prompting adjustments in market strategies and lending practices.”

[…]

In South Carolina, foreclosures surged 51%, while Missouri saw a 50% jump and Pennsylvania a 46% increase. Foreclosures in Texas rose 7%, and in Indiana they climbed 0.8%…….

New York has very generous squatters rights, not paying your mortgage is the way to get a free house in NY.

The housing market is not an entity unto itself. It’s completely dependent on jobs. You can thank the lending policies of the GSE’s such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD/FHA, etc. also. All of the lending industry is trying to get rid of appraisers, inspectors and surveyors (the only impartial occupations in the real estate world). They’re even trying to get rid of the title insurers. They even want to get rid of the real estate agents/brokers. The lending industry wants ALL of the money and no impartial checks on their fraud, oops, I mean activities. And, the American public is stupid and will let it happen. The banking industry wasn’t happy with crashing the economy every fifteen years or so. They will soon be crashing it every 3-7 years.

This really is such serious, awful news — and yet it seems it is allowed to pass as if it’s no more important than a summer rain in the Arizona desert.

How could any one plan to vote dem in November – cray

Who does Joe Biden thinks he is kidding with that question “Are you better off today?”. It is so obvious that we are not better off today. There has been runaway inflation, especially in the price of groceries. There has been massive increases in the price of gasoline. I live in a 28 unit condominium building where the units are all 2 bedrooms and about a 1000 square foot area. I already know a number of people in my building that are barely making it from paycheck to paycheck. Also finances are very tight with the Homeowners Association. So do not go telling me that things are better under Joe Biden the liar than they were under Donald Trump.

When we think insane politicians can’t get any worse, they do. So far after three years of Biden, I don’t know how we’re still standing.
