Illegals will be getting 40% more than the state gives to low-income and elderly New Yorkers under SNAP benefits and two times the amount the state gives monthly in services for single veterans.

Thousands of migrants in NY quietly collecting cash assistance through Hochul rule change

The Hochul administration is quietly using taxpayer dollars to gift cash payments to thousands of migrants who don’t qualify for typical welfare assistance, The Post has learned.
The cash windfall was made possible by the state Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance modifying its “Safety Net Assistance” program’s eligibility rules in May to include non-citizens with pending applications for legal asylum status.
The announcement was made through an under-the-radar message the agency sent out to social services agencies across the state.
The OTDA declined to reveal how many migrants have received SNA checks, but estimates that 90% of New York’s current migrant population won’t see additional benefits under the rule change.
With more than 173,000 migrants coming to the Big Apple since spring 2022, if only 10% of migrants here are eligible for SNA payments, the number of recipients could exceed 17,000 in NYC alone.
66,000 migrants currently remain in the city’s care.

It’s worse that that! Remember the Founder of the Democrat Party? You see him on the $20 bill, Andrew Jackson, who was the first Democrat president and caused the Trail of Tears. He stole as much as two million acres of land from the natives Americans and had as many as 300 slaves. That party later started the Civil War, when South Carolina seceded from the Union six weeks after Abraham Lincoln was elected. It was the Democrat John Calhoun that actually started the Civil War killing more than 400 thousand Americans.
Make special note that when people claim the Founding Fathers advocated for slavery if that were true then why when the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 did they ban slavery in a territory as large as the original 13 colonies???
I learned from a Haitian Immigrant to the United States that in Thomas Jefferson’s ROUGH draft of the Declaration of Independence he actually called out the King of England for allowing slavery in the New World!
Tow colonies would not ratify the Declaration until that article was removed. Which colonies?? South Carolina and Georgia and Dinesh D’Souza revealed in his documentary AMERICA IMAGINE THE WORLD WITHOUT HER
that both states had many slave owners, who were BLACK, in fact when the Civil War began one of the largest owners was William Ellison, who did something most slave owners did not do, he was a slave breeder.
In the Charleston, SC area, for example there was Justus Angel and Mistress L. Horry, who both owned 84 slaves.
I even checked Dinesh”s facts and in 1830 both these two people were listed as “Free Colored” and each owned 84 slaves. There were many more slaves owners that were Black, but listed as “free colored” in the census. In fact, the percentage of free blacks that owned slaves was higher than white slave owners.
Read Dinesh’s book, too. “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.” One point that Dinesh does not bring out is that the Communist Manifesto was not written by Karl Marx. The actual author was a cousin of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Clinton Roosevelt. He published his book in 1841 while in the NY Assembly. Marx may have found it in a library in England. If you want to find out what the plan the Democrats have for America, that will become Amarxica, see the Rod Taylor movie HG Well’s The Time Machine. There will not longer be Americans, just ELOI.

There are a lot of misconceptions of the effect of illegal aliens on the economy. We let them in, we don’t let them work and we put them on welfare. That’s a bad policy for the economy despite what some leftist economists might tell you. The bottom line in economics is you want your money to generate wealth and then the jobs will come. Welfare does not generate wealth, paying salaries for useful work does. Now it’s true that those illegals would compete for jobs with our own citizens but the wealth they create would mean that they would buy goods with that wealth which will create jobs for people who produce those goods. They will take jobs but they will also create jobs. If you put them on welfare they still consume goods but the problem is they don’t create wealth to buy those goods so the result is inflation. We have plenty of inflation and inflation can turn into hyperinflation. It did that in Weimar Germany and that brought on Nazi Germany. People become nasty when they don’t have money to get food etc..

The problem is hat too many people of color do not know that South Carolina was dominated by Democrats when it seceded from the Union six weeks after Lincoln elected and he was opposed to slavery. He was influenced by men like Frederick Douglas. The Democrats were not happy that slavery was not going to be allowed to spread into Western states. One thing that is forgotten is that the only slave owners were not only whites. There were slave owners who were Black.
