More than 40,000 hours of Jan. 6 Capitol Police security video will be made public on a dedicated website starting immediately and ramping up in the coming months, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) announced on Nov. 17.
However, individual video clips released to media or other requesters will have the faces of identifiable individuals blurred, a senior congressional aide told The Epoch Times. That restriction drew immediate fire from some Jan. 6 criminal case defendants.
“So while we are significantly expanding the amount of clips that will be available and who can request them, we will be blurring faces with respect to individuals who are identifiable,” the source said.
“To restore America’s trust and faith in their government we must have transparency,” Mr. Johnson wrote on X.com. “This is another step towards keeping the promises I made when I was elected to be your Speaker.”
The Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight, chaired by Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), has already posted 90 hours of Capitol security video in the online viewing room. The initial release includes footage previously provided to various media outlets.“The goal of our investigation has been to provide the American people with transparency on what happened at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and this includes all official video from that day,” Mr. Loudermilk said in a statement. “We will continue loading video footage as we conduct our investigation and continue to review footage.”

Just to think of a the national politically correct outrage and even riots that would occur if a White Capital police officer had shot dead a BLM rioter , for any reason ,no matter how valid that reason was.
It’s a outright affront and travesty to justice and everything that is good ,decent and right to give that vicious murderer of Ashli Babbitt, a promotion what he m Michael Byrd should actually be in prison for murder.

This is completely and wrong. Not only to not arrest and imprison that malicious murderer, Michael Byrd, for the cold blood murder of the patriot Ashli Babbitt but now to even give that villain a promotion is a wickedness beyond reason.
It’s taking the wicked horrible man, Michael Byrd, and falsely making him out to be some kind of “outstanding good man” and in contrast making the good decent righteous patriot ,Ashli Babbitt out to be some kind of lawless terrorist. She was before Byrd murder her ,talking with other Capital police and attempting to stop all the mayhem that was going on at that time.

The Jan 6th committee circus, was full of corrupt progressive, commie, demoncrap, and RINO politicians. Everyone of them needs to be charged with crimes against the people and given a Hemp necktie. The corrupt FBI and DC Pigs need to undergo the same treatment as well. They destroyed the lives of a lot of innocent people and are continuing to do so.

The J6 Committee should be jailed for conspiring to falsify legal documents so innocent Americans would be framed and tortured in federal prison. They are just as guilty as the human garbage pretending to be patriots outside the capital that day, and the FBI who tracked down anyone they could anywhere near the capital that day who attended President Trump’s rally. They should all go to prison for a very long time.
