Matt Gaetz and Mitch McConnell have turned their party into a mess.
McConnell formed a uniparty with Shumer; while Gaetz formed his own uni-party with Hakeem “I defend antisemites who blame Jews for the slave-trade” Jeffries.

Although Matt Gaetz started all of this by targeting his own party. and formed an alliance with Hakeem Jeffries.
Then they also shot down Steve Scalise’s nomination. Rejecting Jordan is just payback.

I think it’s just payback for getting rid of McCarthy, then re-negging on Steve Scalise.
The other side just wants to teach Gaetz and company a lesson.
Now that they are even, maybe they’ll say “don’t tropedo Scalise”. and put him up again.
