Developing: McCarthy Reportedly Lied Again – Cut a Side Deal for Ukraine Funding with McConnell and Biden

Earlier today the US House of Representatives passed a last-minute spending bill to keep the government funded for an additional 45 days, narrowly averting a government shutdown that would have commenced at 12:01 a.m. The bill, spearheaded by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), now heads to the Senate, where it is expected to pass.
With a 335-91 vote, the House approved a 45-day temporary funding measure that excludes border security and $6 billion in funding for Ukraine.
The bill includes provisions for disaster relief funds that likely swayed some Democrats to vote in favor.
Shortly after today’s vote news broke that Kevin McCarthy pulled a fast one and made a side deal with GOP Minority leader Mitch McConnell and Joe Biden to fund Ukraine.
Sure enough. Kevin McCarthy apparently made a side deal and will hold an up-or-down vote to continue to send billions in US taxpayer money to Ukraine for their war with Russia.
McCarthy did not tell House Republicans about the deal until after the continuing resolution passed.

KEVIN MCCARTHY supports ISRAEL.
McCarthy is being consistent when he opposes Russia which considers Israeli territory illegal. IRAN is a proxy of Russia. Putin sustains IRAN, Syria, Hamas, & Hezzbolah. Matt Gaetz is being inconsistent.
What about you? If you’re pro-Israel, are you being consistent? Or do you lie to yourself like a Democrat?

6 months agoOnce again a bogus article. Followed to the source, Gateway Pundit, and it is just as vague. What EXACTLY was the “deal?” We get Gaetz shooting his mouth off again demanding a recall with no suggestion of who would replace McCarthy. Gaetz is behaving like a spoiled brat that didn’t get his way. So this article, with essentially nothing of substance, is no more than clickbait. The only money I can find for Ukraine is $300 million that was included in the CR.
This is Vietnam all over again. In 1975 a Democrat Congress pulled funding and South Vietnam collapsed and gave us a Communist Vietnam. Thousands perished in “re-education” camps over the next 16 years until the collapse of the Soviet Union the main benefactor of Communist Vietnam.
Now it is the Republican that want to pull funding from Ukraine and let Putin/Russia seize Ukraine. Putin as PUBLICLY stated and written that Ukraine doesn’t exist, Ukrainians are misguided Russians, there is no such thing as the Ukrainian language, culture, etc. All of that meets the criteria of genocide as defined by the U.N. and the Nuremberg Trials.
6 months agoReply to SteveIt is only Vietnam if NATO and Biden want it to be. There was no peace treaty between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. A peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine was in the works when the nutcase Boris Johnson interfered.
There can still be a peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine. All Biden has to do is to agree to the peace treaty.
BTW, didn’t Biden say there were no US Military in Ukraine?

Putin broke that deal when he interefered in the 2004 Ukrainian elections, 10 years before Victoria “the idiot” Nuland arrived. Mr. Putin’s puppet, Victor Yanukovich won in 2004 because pro-Russia assassins poisoned his opponent.
