Voters are souring on the state of the nation, with a stunning 74% saying the US is on the wrong track, according to a survey released Sunday.
The NBC poll found just 20% of respondents say America is moving in the right direction.
The last time voters were that bitter about the nation’s course — in 1992 and 2008 — the party in control of the White House changed hands, NBC’s Chuck Todd noted in unveiling the results.
In each of those elections, Democrats Bill Clinton and Barack Obama snatched the Oval Office back from Republicans.
The same poll sees a likely rematch between Democratic President Biden and former President Donald Trump.

IMO, America is, will be, lost if it continues on its current course. Raised in a Democrat political family, I believe the Democrat Party has completely lost it way. That said, I have no respect for the majority of the GOP. It is time for a third Party. America should always be first for the American people.

The Democratic party is no longer the party of JFK, FDR, or Truman.
And the Republican party has new baggage: the RINO-Wing led by Karl Rove and the Putin-wing led by Tucker Carlson. Democrats also have a China-Wing and an Iran-Wing. Plus Cancel Culture and Weaponization.
I’ve never joined any political party unlike some of my friends and relatives. Being Independent seems to be the way.
