Their crime. Reason and truth. They forfeited a match against an opposing team that includes a male player. And for this, they were severely punished. Martyrs.
The Vermont Principals Association announced the punishment in a letter to MVCS on Monday afternoon stating that the private school in Hartford is now ineligible to participate in VPA-sanctioned activities, effective immediately, owing to the forfeit of its first-round matchup against Long Trail School, who has a transgender player on its roster.
National Review: A Christian school has been excluded from competing in future tournaments sanctioned by the Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA) after its girls basketball team forfeited a match against an opposing team that includes a male player who identifies as a girl. The VPA, the governing body overseeing high school sports in Vermont, ruled that the Mid Vermont Christian School (MVCS) can no longer participate in any VPA-sponsored competitions across all sports because the school violated two human-rights policies concerning “gender identity” and “commitment to racial, gender-fair, and disability awareness” (National Review).

Townhall: The issue of male athletes who believe that they are transgender infiltrating women’s sports has made international headlines. Last month, world-renowned surfer Bethany Hamilton, who the movie “Soul Surfer” is based on, said that she would no longer be competing in professional surfing if the World Surf League moved forward with its inclusive transgender policy (Townhall).

A Christian prep school in Vermont that refused to play girls basketball against a team with a transgender player has been banned from participating in state sporting events.
The Mid Vermont Christian School was booted by the Vermont Principals’ Association in a March 13 letter that said the school had violated its inclusivity principals.
After a Monday meeting, the associated decided the Quechee school’s actions had violated its ‘Commitment to Racial, Gender-Fair, and Disability Awareness and Policy of Gender.’…….
