Tired: Iowa Dem Congresswoman calls GOP challenger ‘racist’ for wanting to secure the border

Cindy Axne is just the kind of political hack that the Democrats love to have in Washington. She faithfully parrots their party line, no matter how insane and America-Last it is, and can be counted on not to think too much, which might lead to her straying off the reservation. But that kind of herd mentality didn’t help her on Friday, when all she could do in response to her GOP challenger’s call for a secure border was call it “racist.” This is such a tired and unconvincing argument that it demonstrates in itself the left’s abject intellectual bankruptcy. Nunn’s response, meanwhile, was perfect. Axne’s response was indeed insane. The Democrat Party today is the Party of Insanity.

Iowa state Sen. Zach Nunn, the Republican who is challenging Democratic Rep. Cindy Axne, fired back at the congresswoman Monday after she claimed he is “racist” for saying illegal immigrants are flooding the southern border with drugs and crime.

During a “Latino Issues Conversation” on Facebook Live Friday, Axne cited a recent mailer from Nunn’s campaign that she said is “racist and wrong.”

“This is what Zach Nunn said, he’s ‘working to secure the border to stop the flood of illegal immigrants bringing crime and drugs into our country.’ We cannot have people like that in the highest levels of government in this country who automatically believe that folks who are from another place are criminals,” Axne said.

“That is absolutely racist and wrong,” she continued. “It sets a terrible precedent for citizens in this country to think badly about other folks when it’s not true. And leadership at the highest levels, as I’ve seen over the last few years, has become very predominant in people’s everyday lives.”

“We don’t need any more folks who are trying to divide our country and pit us against each other because of the color of our skin,” she added.

Nunn, a Trump-endorsed U.S. Air Force officer, hopes to unseat Axne in the Nov. 8 midterm elections. Iowa’s 3rd District is rated by the Fox News Power Rankings as leaning Republican.

“Cindy Axne saying that national security is ‘racist’ is insane,” Nunn told Fox News Digital. “I’ve laid my life on the line for this country and I don’t intend to have it destroyed by open borders. I’ve been to the border and seen this humanitarian crisis, Axne said she doesn’t need to go. I’ve worked to save lives, Axne abandoned Americans.”

“This is yet another example of Democrats being out of touch with reality, the fact of the matter is Americans are struggling with record high drugs and crime pouring into our country and Democrats do nothing about it,” he said….

The charts and graphs in Heinsohn’s PowerPoint presentation tell a startling story. In 1950, the combined population of sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and S & SE Asia was about 1.117 billion. By 2018, it had quadrupled to 4.773 billion, with 938 million seeking to either cross the Rio Grande or emigrate someplace else for a better chance in life and a higher standard of living.
Projections for the next quarter century are even more disquieting. By 2050, the population ONE BILLION, 321MIL assumes that the desire to emigrate, polled globally which Gallup polled in 2017, will not increase in the years ahead.

Ived lived in Tucson, Ive worked out of El Paso and in both of those Cities I have know Hispanic guys that want that Border secured, controlled and not what it is today so I would ask this silly silly woman that lives far far away from the Southern Border are these two guys racists also.

I guess she’d rather see terrorists enter with the uneducated and unemployable hordes who will demand housing, food, medical care, special classes for their children so they can learn in Spanish instead of learning English. Some of these wonderful people will go out and drive while drunk and will kill innocent drivers. I believe there is some sort of protocol that they are required to follow is to first seek “sanctuary” in the first country they enter after leaving their own. Of course, they will not do that. They want the BIG CASH PAYOUTS in the USA. BUILD THE REST OF THE WALL, ASAP!!
