Pretty rich that fraudulent Biden administration is barring Nicaragua’s president and other government officials after foul play is suspected in their elections. You can’t make this stuff up.

President Joe Biden announced Tuesday he is barring Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega from entering the United States, along with other Nicaraguan officials, following the country’s presidential election earlier this month which the US criticized as undemocratic.

• The White House announcement claimed Ortega won reelection on Nov. 7 by using dictatorial tactics, which prompted the suspension of entry.
• The announcement refers to the Nicaraguan government’s crackdown on those opposed to Ortega, citing its denial of civil liberties for its citizens, such as rights to fair trial and peaceful protest.
• The Announcement accused Nicaragua’s judiciary system of aiding and abetting the Ortega government’s “use of politically motivated charges” to imprison political opposition.
• The suspension includes Ortega, Vice President Rosario Murillo (who is also Ortega’s wife) and other government members including elected officials and their staff members.
• On Monday, the U.S. treasury dolled out sanctions on nine Nicaraguan officials and the Public Ministry of Nicaragua in response to the “sham national elections.”

Ortega was reelected for a fourth consecutive term on Nov. 7, in what Biden referred to as a “pantomime election that was neither free nor fair, and most certainly not democratic.” Ortega won with 75% of the vote against no viable challengers. Ortega jailed several pre-candidates and journalists prior to the election. In 2018, hundreds of people were killed during protests of Nicaragua’s pension system reforms, during which many called for Ortega’s resignation.
