CAIR’s 2021 Hate Report is More of the Same

CAIR has released its latest hate report, entitled: “Resilience in the Face of Hate.”

There is not much new in here. In fact, much of it is a rehash of stories that dedicated CAIR watchers will already be familiar with.

What is new is political activist Huzaifa Shabaz, who prepared the report for CAIR. But the overall message is the same, i.e. CAIR is a civil rights organization fighting for people’s rights in the American tradition. And so this report is supposed to be a collection of CAIR’s achievements over the past two years.

Here is a quick overview of some of the achievements CAIR lays claim to in their latest report.

1. The watch list

   More people need to be aware of CAIR’s campaign to destroy the Terrorist Screening Database, while at the same time showing contempt for the idea of national security.

2. Chicago driver’s licenses

   CAIR filed suit to allow Muslims to remove their coverings after wearing it in their driver’s license photo. Wearing the hijab is a personal choice in America, and has nothing to do with one’s sex organs. Remember this the next time you hear CAIR claim that not wearing the hijab is the same as being naked.

3. Bahia Amawi

   The Texas anti-BDS law asks that people contracting with the state not use their business to boycott Israel. It is entirely unreasonable to ask Texas to underwrite an activity that would erode its economy. CAIR has bizarrely argued that this law prevents people from discussing their groceries. Why the court did not immediately throw this case out is something that calls for an investigation.

4. Laura Loomer

   CAIR is delighted to bully Loomer, who has been canceled by every single social media company, and is at risk of becoming a victim of criminal behavior.

5. Anna’s House

   CAIR’s various lawsuits against restaurants amount to nothing more than a legal shakedown.

6. Muslim Brotherhood operatives and American Airlines

   Who needs to flush an airplane toilet twice? In any event, one of the men involved is a frequent speaker at Muslim Brotherhood sponsored events.

7. Rick Painter

   Rick Painter is suffering from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Nevertheless, CAIR considers persecuting this man to be an achievement.

8. Nabra Hassanen

   An illegal alien killed Nabra Hassanen; the perpetrator is one of the very people CAIR wants more of in this country.

9. The Somali McDonald’s

   A McDonald’s manager tries to secure her store after a customer pulled a gun on Somali teens. CAIR had her fired a few days before Christmas. It’s an achievement!

10. The Ramada Punishment

    Shades of Clockboy. A Muslim family want a teacher fired. The DOE issued a statement on the matter, finding no wrongdoing.

11. Mohamed Khairullah

    He is very indignant that anyone would choose him for secondary inspection, even though it is “likely that Khairullah was pulled aside by the CBP due to his frequent travel to the Syrian war zone via Istanbul.”

12. Edward Kodinsky

    CAIR has another teacher fired for teaching facts about Islam. The Cal State San Bernardino college campus has a nest of Hamas supporters in its Center for Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.

13. Farmhaus Burgers

    An employee converts to Islam and starts wearing a hijab. She quits a short time later. Then, later still, she decides to sue her old employer for discrimination. The restaurant settles out of court to avoid costly litigation. No restaurant should ever serve CAIR members.

14. Nicholas Damask

    Another college professor attacked by CAIR for teaching facts about Islam. This time while he is receiving death threats by Muslims from all over the world.

15. Bakhodir Madjitov

    “If every alien under a final order of removal simply refused to leave, even when the arrangements have been made, no alien would ever be removed. He has spent upwards of eight years under a final order of deportation,” and continued to father children while in the country. CAIR has done nothing but mischaracterize this case.

16. Shukri Ali Said

    A Muslim woman goes off her meds, and begins brandishing a knife in front of a high school before police shoot her. CAIR is trying to place responsibility with the police, when it really lies with the Muslim woman’s family.

17. Minnehaha teens

    Police respond to a call about Somali teens having a gun. Police detain the teens, and release them when no gun is found. CAIR sues the Minnehaha Park on behalf of the boys’ family. The park settles out of court to avoid costly litigation. Kudos to CAIR for gouging the taxpayers of Minnesota out $170,000, while teaching children that America is racist, police are your enemy, and how to play the ghetto lottery.

18. Jacob Letourneau-Elshawkawy teen suicide

    A teenager commits suicide. No one knows why. If CAIR could only find a way, they would gouge the Minnesota taxpayers again over this.

19. Anas Elhady

    CAIR’s star exhibit in their effort to eliminate the TSDB watchlist. If true, Elhady’s treatment was unacceptably harsh, but also unrepresentative. As was pointed out to CAIR during appeal, Elhady traveled numerous other times without incident. Despite the rest of us having to walk the gauntlet at the airport because of Muslim terrorists, CAIR’s only concern is that airport security not inconvenience Muslims.

20. Target barista

    A Muslim has her name misspelled on a Starbucks cup. CAIR wants someone fired for this. How could anyone consider this to be an achievement?

21. Collective Against Islamophobia

    The beheading of Samuel Paty was the last straw for France, and they kicked the Collective Against Islamophobia out of the country. The Collective Against Islamophobia is a collection of Muslim Brotherhood groups (including CAIR) that sat by passively while a social media campaign brewed against Paty. CAIR has never done anything but paid lip service to the horror of Samuel Paty’s murder. Instead, they stand in solidarity with their Muslim Brotherhood colleagues.

22. Hamid Hayat

    After 14 years, a court ordered Hayat released when they determined he had received an inadequate defense, a defense put on by former CAIR-Sacramento executive director Wazhma Mojaddidi. Somehow CAIR always leaves that detail out.

23. Solidarity with Jews and Christians

    CAIR is exploiting the misfortune of others. Anytime there is a shooting or vandalism at a synagogue, or church, CAIR upstages the news with statements of how deeply affected they are by this. However, you never hear CAIR confront anti-Semitic imams, or mention Muslims wiping out Christians in Nigeria. It really is time to start calling them out on their faux sympathy.

24. Matthew and Michael Lemelin

    Two brothers chase some black kids in Connecticut. CAIR has nothing to do with this, but are getting callouses patting themselves on back because they made a statement about it.

25. CAIR welcomed the arrest of Nicholas J. Proffitt

    Welcoming someone’s arrest is not an achievement. That is, unless you are CAIR.

26. CAIR urged law enforcement to prosecute Melissa Lovins

    Melisa Lovins took an Uber home after having too much to drink. During the ride, she started yelling at the driver, and police subsequently arrested her. She never said anything about Muslims, or anybody’s race, and the court immediately dismissed her case. It is not clear what CAIR wanted law enforcement to prosecute Lovins for, but when one is as desperate for achievements as CAIR is, they will pretty much grasp at anything.

27. Colorado arson case

    A Muslim family of five parishes in an arson fire. Enter CAIR, which starts challenging police when they say this is not a hate crime. “What else could it be?” says CAIR. When police finally release the details of their investigation, it turns out that the row house was set on fire by mistake when teenagers picked the wrong house in an act of retribution. CAIR contributed nothing to this story, made a fool of themselves, and are now claiming this as an achievement.

It is the same old CAIR pretending to run a civil rights organization, while attempting to thwart counterterror efforts, hurt people, and exaggerate their own importance. No one will read this report. Especially the TV stations that are currently promoting it. But just getting mentioned on TV is essentially CAIR’s main achievement.
