‘You won’t need to abolish us – we won’t be around for it’: Why many police officers like me are quitting the force

Come South, sir. With the exception of a few places in red cities, we love our law enforcement officers.

I have read many comments over the last while and have held my response, but your observations and reference to God are closer to the mark than many.

We are clearly seeing many danger signs all around us and in multiple other nations. These changing conditions are wide spread and cover many more issues than policing, racism, and growing violence. As you call it, a “trend” of lawlessness and ‘untruth’ has gripped much of the population. People believe the most ridiculous notions of individualism and society, as though they had been ‘given over’ to believe such nonsense and lies.

Of course there are ‘good and bad’ in every profession and walk of life, but none of what is happening today has anything more to do with that other than it was a trigger event for the pursuit of chaos leading up to Nov. Those “forces” want America’s might under their control, but if they can’t have her, they will render her ineffectual. A “grave condition” indeed, with no chance of recovery.

Now this brings it to the meat of the matter. The ‘why’ that is behind all this, and even the ‘how’ is it being allowed.

First, the “forces” I suspect are not unknown to you. The “clever orchestration” behind it all, surpasses anything historically that man alone has ever planned or executed. These plans have been in operation for decades and have unfolded with remarkable timing and efficiency, achieving goal after goal often hidden in the plainest of sight using a clandestine hand. Though that hand was flesh and blood, the driving force behind it was not (Eph.6:12)

So, “If God is for us, who can be against us”? This statement of faith is not wrong, but I don’t think there are very many who grasp its full implications. God is often described in scripture as “light”…PS.27:1, “The Lord is my ‘light’ and my salvation”…Jn.3:19/21″…that ‘light’ is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light…but he who does the truth comes to the light…”.
For a long time, man such as he is, made a point of applying godly principles across the western nations and those lands became ‘Christian’. Perfect, not by a long shot, but they strived for improvement and valued principles that in turn bestowed God’s blessings upon them. Western civilization grew to be like none other and achieved greatness, all because they honored God in the public and political square.

But, for the first time in over 2000yrs, that ‘light’ within those nations, faded. Gradually at first of course, and beginning decades ago, it has grown to the point that no major western nation today is Christian by definition…secularism has replaced its driving principles. God has been pushed out, and save for a remnant, western society now reflects its new god in all of its laws and policies, and in many hearts and minds of its young lions.
God, in His justice, called many times for those nations to repent of their sins, but the collective of those countries voiced their approval of the new path, and soon a nation as once godly as America, became a place that not only sanctioned abortion (among other things) but then sold those aborted baby parts to the highest bidder! Deuteronomy 28:49/50, gives a good description of what and why we see the things afflicting most of Europe and other western entities.

“Did they factor in God’s hand in all this”,…not for one minute could such evil flood Christian nations if the light of God was still upon them. Only in the absence of that light could evil prosper and flourish… God’s hand of blessing is no longer upon these lands. We have entered into a new phase of God’s relationship to creation. We have moved from blessing to judgement, and it has already begun. There is no longer any repentance for nations, only the individual can seek that now. And seek it they should, while it still can be found, for these times have only just started…so much worse is to come, and come it must, before the end can come.
