States That Reopened Do Not Have More COVID-19 Infections Than Ones That Stayed Closed
Governors who started opening up sooner haven’t seen dramatic increases in deaths.

Story continues below advertisementMany governors, including Governor Brian Kemp (R,GA) who started reopening their states have not seen dramatic increases in coronavirus deaths as critics suggested.
According to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation report from May 12, the rates of infection would dramatically spike from hundreds of new cases a day up into the thousands by June and well into August of this year. Now that Georgia has had shelter-in-place lifted for 14 days and they are a month into the reopening of the state, new IHME predictions fall dramatically short of prior predictions.
The latest IHME model show dramatic updates on the projected number of new cases per day. As of yesterday, the state of Georgia is looking at no new COVID-19 cases by August and 367 daily cases by June.
Media outlets that came after Kemp as well as the other governors who reopened their states earlier have not retracted or corrected their original stories suggesting massive death tolls and overwhelmed hospitals.
According to a summary written by Erick Erickson, conservative blogger and radio host, after both publications of projections for COVID-19 IHME reports that such reporting caused angry media inquiries demanding explanations from Kemp, while after the model showing updated and dramatically lower data was released, Kemp did not receive such coverage.
Erickson, who says he got this information from someone “in the know” poises a question that many other conservative voices have expressed since yesterday’s updated IHME report. When will people like Governor Kemp and others who opened their states early get an apology?

i have heard to many state that wearing a “mask” has done so much to stop the spread of the WUHAN VIRUS …… Will someone explain ………. There has been no ‘study’ of a population that did not wear masks vs a population that did wear masks ….. how do we know, with any certainty, that wearing masks has any real effect on the spread of the Wuhan virus.
We do know, for a fact, that Hydroxychloroquine & Z-pak are a very effective treatment – so why is it that so many are whining for a “vaccine” ….. Hmmm, maybe we should ask Bill Gates or Fauci, since they seem to stand to profit nicely from a “mandatory” vaccine program.

Wearing a mask does not stop the virus. Ask any physician.
Bill Gates is a major player for the vaccine. In the vaccine will be a component for sterilization. Gates is huge on population control. You will be forced to have the vaccine or be incarcerated.
I find it interesting that after all these years, we do not have a vaccine for HIV/AIDS, but within a few mere months we will have a vaccine for the supposed Corona virus.

Dr. Russell Blaylock a neurosurgeon says “that studies have also shown that face masks impair oxygen intake dramatically leading to serious problems. It could also create a “deadly cytokine storm” in some. How about cancer, heart attacks and strokes? Blaylock says face masks make all of them worse. COVID-19 in your brain? Exhaled viruses cannot escape, will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves, travel into the brain.”

I just read from a scientist who studied the wearing of a mask (backed by evidence/experiments) how a cloth mask will suppress the spreading of the virus. If everyone wore a mask the virus would be eliminated. I was skeptical at first but now a believer. Unfortunately I was unable to save the rather long article with pictures of persons exhaling normally, rather shocking as many infected show no signs.

Cloth face masks will not stop the virus. The microbe is incredibly small, only wearing a plastic shield will stop it.
The scientist that you mentioned above is probably on liberal Dr. Fauci’s payroll!
