Trump Hints at Reassessing Coronavirus Response to Save Economy
President Donald Trump hinted in a tweet late Sunday night that his administration is considering reassessing its coronavirus regulations restricting people going to work.

Story continues below advertisement“We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself,” Trump wrote in all capital letters. “At the end of the 15 day period, we will make a decision as to which way we want to go!”
Vice President Mike Pence also signaled a change in tone when he said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is going to issue guidance permitting those exposed to the coronavirus to go back to work earlier by wearing a mask for a certain period of time, Axios reported.
The remarks by Trump and Pence appear to indicate that the administration is searching for ways in which to get people back to work so that the economy can be stabilized as unemployment shoots up and the stock market tumbles.
Axios pointed out that such a policy would almost certainly result in strong disagreement with the health experts, who are expected to push for a longer period of social distancing and quarantining across the nation at the end of the 15-day period, which began on March 16.
Trump’s tweet came as the Senate’s emergency stimulus bill to help alleviate the impact of the pandemic on the economy failed to move forward, Fox News reported.
Major sectors of the economy – including hotels, restaurants, airlines, and retailers – already have suffered major losses.
However, both Republicans and Democrats have sounded an optimistic note that a compromise will be worked out in order to pass the Senate bill.

CNN just finished interviewing a very pretty young professor of public health from UCLA who had all the answers.
She said there’s only one answer — social distancing. However long it takes!
And anchor Brianna Keilar readily agreed, leaving the segment with the leadership position that “nothing is more important than human life”
She failed to explain how and what is the nature of “human life” in the United States when everyone is out of work.
Lucky for all of us these morons are in the business of mocking the people making the tough decisions rather than actually making the decisions!
Then Keilar (who is one of many who disgrace themselves irredeemably by appearing on CNN at all) teased the next segment, a story about how the WHO “rebuked President Trump for pushing drugs” that haven’t been approved.
They have no shame.

At the televised daily presser viewers see or hear nothing from the MSM about the continued Red Chinese criminal responsibility for this global pandemic. How can anybody talk about the Wuhan virus for hours and never mention Red China? Let us be serious for a moment. At last count USA has less than 500 deaths in a population of about 330 millions (2019)
A drop in the ocean. Most of whom were at the end of their lives anyway.Is it worth wrecking the economy and putting many on the road to poverty to save a few lives?
Yes every life is precious blah blah but sometimes lives have to be sacrificed. Millions of young men in their prime gave their lives in various wars.

Thus far during 2019-2020, 20,000 people have died the regular flu. For the period 2018-2019, 30,000 people died from the regular flu.
Forget the bill. People go back to work. Resume normal activities.

Reports show that CV19 is 20X more contagious than the regular flu…
Additionally… CV19 deaths have been controlled by lockdowns. If the lockdowns weren’t in place the death rate would be much higher…

The coronavirus epidemic is the problem. There’s no reason to believe the epidemic is anywhere near under control. Under those conditions, reducing/ending the control efforts is not just criminal stupidity, it’s criminal insanity.
