NYPD ‘declares war’ on POS de Blasio after cop shootings

Last week the disconnected and destructive de Blasio said he wants to “save” NYC after running it for 6 years  — prompting confused New Yorkers to wonder, “Save us from what — your leadership?”

NYPD sergeants’ union ‘declares war’ on de Blasio after cop shootings

New York Post, February 10, 2020;The NYPD’s Sergeants Benevolent Association said Sunday its members are declaring “war” on Mayor Bill de Blasio after a gunman tried to assassinate cops in two incidents over less than 12 hours.

“Mayor DeBlasio, the members of the NYPD are declaring war on you!” the union tweeted. “We do not respect you, DO NOT visit us in hospitals.”

“You sold the NYPD to the vile creatures, the 1% who hate cops but vote for you,” the union continued.

The SBA told the mayor that “NYPD cops have been assassinated because of you,” before adding: “This isn’t over, Game on!”

The union was responding to a tweet from de Blasio after a gunman stormed the 41st Precinct in the Bronx on Sunday morning, injuring Officer Paul Stroffolino, with Hizzoner calling the shooting “a premeditated assassination attempt against New York’s Finest.”

Cops later said the same shooter, Robert Williams, had allegedly ambushed Bronx cop Jose Gautreaux the night before, leaving him wounded.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the union specifically meant by “declaring war” on the mayor.

The mayor’s office didn’t immediately comment on the tweet.

Isn’t the Mayor the boss of the Police department? Did I miss something?

The Mayor sees the police as racially biased against minorities, especially the black community. This type of mentality says that these incidents against the police are wrong, but there are many more violent wrongs committed by police against blacks so on the whole it’s better to restrict the police and have a few bad “incidents” than to have “racism” expressed on a daily and extensive basis against an entire community. I don’t agree with the Mayor, and his stats about neighborhood policing and less aggressive policing actually getting better results are, I believe, manipulated statistics. I don’t believe that criminals become less criminal by being treated more politely or by ignoring their wrong behavior (like throwing buckets of water on cops, and the cops not being allowed to respond by arresting them on the spot or hitting them over the head before arresting them). It’s phony do-goodism. Crime as well as mouthing off and cursing cops should not be tolerated. It’s not good for law and order. It’s not the right tone for a society. It’s wrong wrong wrong. Compliance with the law and punishment for non-compliance must be the order of the day. But of course there have to rules to prevent brutality. But use of force and aggressive stop-and-frisk is not brutality. Some say Bloomberg carried stop-and-frisk too far. If that is true, then it might need to be reined in a little, but to stop stop-and-frisk (which has been ruled Constitutional) is going too far, and that is what DiBlasio has largely done.

There’s the word “be” missing from the spot after the phrase, “But of course there have to __ …” ….fyi.

De Blasio should be indicted for his culpability in these heinous attempts on the lives of these NYPD law enforcement officers and previous anti-NYPD evildoings. De Blasio, in tandem with the so-called Democratic Party, is allied with the likes of Sarsour, other Jihadists; not to mention, he is a rabid anti-Semite and anti-American. The whole enchilada, the entirety of the Democratic Party, is the real Enemy of the State.

Not a good position to be in if your own police department despises you. He better pray he never needs the help from anyone in the NYPD. They might just delay their response.

I can see NYPD rad NYFD (they are brothers, after all!) running Code 3 at 8 mph to assist this POS in an emergency. Now THAT would be awesome!

No more ‘stop and frisk’. Lots more blacks killing blacks. Far more illegal guns on the streets in the hands of criminals brought to you by the ‘anti gun’ gurus.

I would never support a blue flu type strike. However, the thought of one in NYC makes me chuckle about it a bit. You get what you vote for.

That’s really something, when the police are in open rebellion against their mayor.

You may have it reversed, the Mayor’s regime may be in rebellion against LAW ENFORCEMENT, and to extent, the Federal Government. Maybe now, Police have declared their own sort of “resistance”.

Just as the constant police bashing has led to a spike in attacks on or even killing of police officers, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see how Planned Parenthood’s and NARAL’s branding of pregnancy as akin to a catastrophic illness and tantamount to a death sentence, their belittling of motherhood as a “punishment,” and their looking down on children as an unwanted, unwelcome, undue burden – coupled with their drive to eliminate any and all alternative options out there and their Wild West mentality about abortion access – has for years spurred many a young mother to murder her newborn, infant and toddler, the most infamous still being Casey Anthony in 2008 murdering her 2-year-old daughter, and carrying on to four different reported cases of infanticides last year in four states including here, in The Bronx. Attitudes towards life, like politics, flow downstream from culture. And coupled with the precipitous decline in native birth rates, paving the road for a demographic disaster in this country.

I remember watching Casey Anthony’s situation.
She was guilty and got away with murder.

Had the abortion culture’s removal of penalties for such murders been removed “at the time,” she wouldn’t even have been charged.

This was predicable, after outrageous incidents of extreme disrespect hurled against Police Officers (past year or so) — which brought no serous consequence. ( Not to mention insidious conditioning under President Obama’s subversive regime. )

Without stern deterrence, malicious criminals are only encouraged. Appears NY’s administration, issued unwitting or intentional invitation. De-Commio may have blood on his hands.

More menacing than thugs on the street, hard-Left municipal regime.

I am a proud resident of Arizona, the most gun-friendly state in the Union. A de B;asio would be violently overthrown . Of course, Tucson is Berserkeley-East, and Phoenix has a socialistic mayor, but these matters will be eventually corrected at the ballot box…unless they try to pull the kind of s#it that de Basio pulls in NYC.

Sorry…not a good thing to have an openly politicized police force. “Vote Bill out” is a much better way.

True.
I have made it my policy for about 20 years now to never go above the Mason-Dixion line the rest of my life. The whole North East and the North West has descended into horrors I could never imagined when I was younger.

I’m just going to point this out and then give sympathy to the NYPD:
Most union people -including law enforcement – are very long time democrats……I’m betting if the truth were known, most of the law enforcement voted for him out of habit.

Okay, Lesson Learned.

The brave men and women in the NYPD are the “thin blue line”. Be safe, and don’t take too many chances….remember, many of the people you are rescuing or helping voted for the piece of excrement to be Mayor.
Remember, vote for the “right” person……forget about what party.
May God Bless and Keep each one of you.

I supported the cops most of my life with exceptions, but not anymore, because instead of defying Blasio’s orders to stand down when civilians are being attacked by BLM and Antifa, and elderly women being raped and killed by entitled Muslims released from jail early without having to pay bail, while they do nothing about it, makes one not give a crap about their complaining when THEY get attacked.
