ADVERTISEMENTAn eye-witness told the MailOnline that the gangs appeared to have arrived in the area via the nearby Wandsworth Common station just a few minutes before the trouble erupted.
Dozens of hooded youths took part in a mass brawl in a leafy London suburb in front of shocked onlookers.
In scenes captured on video by eye-witnesses more than 30 youngsters gathered for what appeared to be a pre-arranged fight on Wandsworth Common.
At one point some ten boys rained down punches, kicks and stamps on another lad as he lay on the ground.
While the violence unfolded a young girl could be seen capturing the violence on her mobile phone.

The eye-witness told the MailOnline that the gangs appeared to have arrived in the area via the nearby Wandsworth Common station just a few minutes before the trouble erupted
‘The violence was truly shocking. I couldn’t see any weapons but they were swinging punches and ganging up on people in large groups, knocking them down and stamping on them as they lay on the ground,’ the witness said‘We were walking to the pub when we saw them coming out of the station in a massive group,’ he said.
‘The next thing we saw was the fighting kicking off on the Common over the other side of the road.
‘The violence was truly shocking. I couldn’t see any weapons but they were swinging punches and ganging up on people in large groups, knocking them down and stamping on them as they lay on the ground.
‘There are a couple of pubs on that road and people enjoying a quiet drink outside looked stunned.
