ISIS Beheading Plotter’s Conviction Overturned by Obama-Appointed Judge

Daoud Wright is a former Islamic State (ISIS) operative in Boston who was the ringleader of a plot to behead me. In December 2017, he was found guilty on five counts in this terrorist plot against me, which involved Wright maintaining close contact with and even financing a major American ISIS leader, Zulfi Hoxha. Yet late Wednesday afternoon, one of those convictions was overturned. Federal Appeals Court Justice David J. Barron said Wright “could have been simply been ‘role-playing’ with respect to following ISIS’s direction.”
Story continues below advertisementBack when Wright was convicted, the jury didn’t think Wright was just “role-playing.” They brought the verdict in swiftly: according to WBUR, they “reached five verdicts in six hours.” Acting U.S. Attorney William Weinreb said: “Mr. Wright is a terrorist, an ISIS supporter and recruiter who intended to wage war against the United States by beheading people and killing Americans.”
Barron, in contrast, clearly has embraced the claim of the defense during the trial, that Wright was just a fat fantasist sitting in his mother’s basement playing video games and dreaming of glory. But in an extraordinary article that appeared in the left-wing Atlantic in January 2018 entitled “A New American Leader Rises in ISIS,” Seamus Hughes, Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens, and Bennett Clifford revealed that a “shared interest in video games may have been one of the first things that brought Hoxha together with David Wright.” The video games were not an idle pastime:
Islamic State’s 2015 instructional manual for its Western supporters, “How to Survive in the West,” includes references to video games as a method of training to join the group. More importantly, it may have brought together Wright and Hoxha, who unlike Wright successfully followed through on his intentions to support the Islamic State using violence… During Wright’s trial, prosecutors argued that he used several video games, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and other titles to “virtually prepare” for jihad. His defense attorneys, however, painted Wright, who weighed over 400 pounds at the time of the conspiracy, as a “fat, failed loser” who used video games as a substitute for real-life violent activity, according to the trial transcript. Unfortunately, one can be both a gamer who veers towards violence and weigh in at 400 pounds of loneliness and isolation…..

Seems a common thread in legal fraternities – juries made of of common people aren’t worth listening to. Judges know best.
At a legal dinner party once and a very large retail chain’s name (call it XYZ) was mentioned. Response from a judge who was present – “What’s XYZ?” This judge was on another planet.
Put juries at every level of appeal. I would prefer to trust in a jury than a judge.

Put Wright in a locked room w/the judge in question, give Wright a loaded handgun, see what shakes out and if the judge’s faith in Wright being merely a “fantasist” mujaheddin are justified.

If memory serves correct it was left in plain view on vehicle seat with window part way down.
At any rate leaving a pistol on a seat as a “professional” is incompetent + gross negligence= gotta be culpability.

Right it was the LEO who carelessly left his pistol on his car seat in plain view with window partly down- (or so I thot)…whereupon “the illegall” did steal it after seeing it laying there.
My thot is the LEO should be charged with “Gross Negligence” as someone died for his direct carelessness.

DNC Resolution Celebrates Democrats’ ‘Largest Religious Group’ — And It’s Not Christians

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) passed a resolution at its summer meeting championing “religiously unaffiliated” voters, who the resolution noted are the “largest religious group” within the party.
The DNC’s “Resolution Regarding the Religiously Unaffiliated Demographic” stated that “religiously unaffiliated Americans overwhelmingly share the Democratic Party’s values,” and “have often been subjected to unfair bias and exclusion in American society.”
The resolution also takes a shot at deeply religious voters, who are accused of using their religious beliefs to oppress other groups. (It’s okay of they oppress YOU because of YOUR beliefs.)
It said “those most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of ‘religious liberty,’ to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities.”
The Democratic Party “is an inclusive organization that recognizes that morals values, and patriotism are not unique to any particular religion, and are not necessarily reliant on having a religious worldview at all,” the resolution stated. (RELATED: DNC Fundraises Off Mass Shootings)
(Christians and serious Jews are NOT welcome.)
The DNC passed the resolution Aug. 24, according to the Secular Coalition for America, but it went largely unnoticed in the media until Fox News reported it Thursday.
DNC chair Tom Perez has been openly critical of church-going Americans in the past.

Presidents can’t do anything, but Congress can.
Congress may enact necessary and proper legislation permitting the removal of federal judges upon a finding of misbehavior in the ordinary courts of law.

Hmmm… Congress seems incapable of doing anything that makes any sense or is good in any way… and for them to put something in place to remove a sitting judge, their “rule” can’t be just one that can be viewed as “political” — any attempt to remove the judge will be viewed as political unless the judge actually committed a crime that they can be charged with, i.e. taking bribes. Obviously simply being a biased Leftist activist judge has not bee grounds for removing anybody… just look at what the 9th circuit has been for many years. Thank God that some of those stepped down creating vacancies that Trump can now (hopefully) fill with constitutionally faithful judges…

“Role-playing is the changing of one’s behaviour to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role.” No person has the right to roleplay beheading someone or committing some other crime against them or threatening their security so they have to hire expensive bodyguards. Pamela Geller should bring a lawsuit against the judge for the cost of the bodyguards to defend against this so-called innocent role playing.

Pam is there a chance this can be overturned because clearly the judge has disregarded the previous jury’s competence and facts. It’s like allowing a proven deranged, unhinged citizen back on the streets when they have threatened actual bodily harm and death to an innocent civilian.
This judge has an agenda to be nominated by Obama. He does nothing unless it’s to serve his vision to steer the legal system for their own gain. This terrorist should be locked up for life or deported by President Trump. He is a huge threat to you Pam, to those who challenge Islam and to America itself. We all need to plead with the President to overturn this ridiculous decision or the corrupt justice system will have blood on its hands!
