Five years in prison for visiting the Old City of Jerusalem? It’s not a joke. It’s real. This is all happening because of Ireland’s embrace of BDS laws. The Boycott, Divest, Sanction [Israel] movement is this century’s Nazi movement, only on a worldwide scale. Same tactics, same viciousness, same lies, same thuggery — the Germans employed the same tactics. Preceding Kristallnacht, the Nazis held several days calling for Germans to boycott Jewish-owned businesses. This was the direct antecedent to the BDS movement. This is no different. This century’s Nazi officials are in the Irish parliament.

An Irish Christian couple travelled to the Old City of Jerusalem to visit holy sites and buy souvenirs. In the process, they committed multiple acts that may soon be considered crimes!
Irish citizens could face up to five years in prison for visiting Christian and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City or buying religious keepsakes if a controversial Irish bill becomes law, explains Prof. Eugene Kontorovich of Northwestern University School of Law.
The Control of Economic Activities (Occupied Territories) bill has already passed the upper and lower Irish houses of parliament and is awaiting a final stamp of approval from Ireland’s government….

Sweden is FINALLY waking up (all be it slowly) from it’s zombie like, pro Islamic derangement syndrome, leaving ONLY Ireland (France & Belgium have been terminally Islamized and have become lost causes at this point) with a robust / enthusiastic / vocal, pro-Muslim / Jew hating, grass roots mind set (Like Sweden, Spain and Germany are slowly wising up as well, as they are dealing with their own internal problems)
Maybe like Sweden, Ireland needs a Muslim invasion with all the benefits… (wanton violence / rape / mass grooming gangs / crime / terror / car torchings / civil unrest / political strife / ballooning welfare & housing costs / law enforcement collapse / creeping sprawling Shariah in public life / ‘No Go’ zones) before it finally wakes up from it virtue signaling delusions…?
Israel should send all UNRWA refugee card carrying “Palestinians” to Ireland (on chartered Ryanair air crafts…) with a nice $25K “readjustment” bonus / immigration incentive, let the oh so humane Ireland, deal with the “poor” “oppressed””Palestinians” they seem to love so much

The current government in Sweden is a minority Government that is barely standing
A majority of Swedish parties (representation wise) is situated right from the current government and has a far more strict stance on immigration, welfare AND Israel (at this point a centrist party is still refusing to form a coalition with the “extreme” ‘Sweden Democrat’ party…But that could easily change in the coming months)
There was even talk of transferring the Swedish embassy from tel Aviv to Jerusalem and possibly even clustering ALL Scandinavian embassies in Jerusalem!!
Sweden is on the verge of a major political shift that could drastically alter the current, suicidal trajectory (reflected in the tragic info you posted) set by the ultra progressive left in Sweden that is fast losing popular support
Surprising as it may seem, Sweden just might be able to dodge the Islamic bullet if they only act fast… time will tell I guess

Ireland is going down.
Last year they legalized abortion. The U.S. is ahead of them. Now we allow a baby to be born and then if the biological mother doesn’t want it, then kill it. Eventually they will get to where we are.

Although this commenter does not bestir himself to say exactly what prompted his insight, I will guess that he is referring to New York’s RHA law (you know, when you are making outlandish claims, it’s always better not to be too specific- vagueness is much better for eliciting a response from the amygdala, the reptilian portion of the brain). Based on that assumption, for anyone who might have a scintilla of concern for the truth of the matter, I would point him into the direction of Ref 1, which states;
Under the old law, New York criminalized abortion unless it was a “justifiable abortional act” — meaning it was within 24 weeks of the commencement of pregnancy or necessary to “preserve” the mother’s life.
The RHA removes abortion from the state’s penal code altogether; the homicide statute still defines a “person” as “a human being who has been born and is alive.” Killing a baby once born was and is still considered a homicide. (emphasis added)
Ref. 2 weighs in with the following:
Online, abortion opponents have crafted many Facebook messages about the New York law. One post from Jan. 23 attacked it by suggesting it allowed murdering babies a minute before they would otherwise be born.
“I was born at 12:05,” reads the text over a photo of a smiling infant. “In New York, it is now perfectly legal to murder me at 12:04.”
This post is not accurate, though it has been shared more than 5,500 times and was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Facebook.) Is the post correct that women can get abortions the minute before a baby would be born? Flagg called such a situation “absurd.”
While I could be rushing to judgement here, based on what I think the commenter was referring to, this person, not for the first time, appears to be bloviating nonsense. Oh, but he read it on the Internet, so it must be true. Typical of the “goon squad”.

I had been planning to attend the Wexford Opera Festival sometime. If this passes, I definitely will not.
Now my impression is the bill is unlikely to become law, mainly on account of how it would affect Ireland. But the fact that it made it this far is telling. An uninformed opinion by people who probably have an overall dislike for Jews anyway- they would much prefer to embrace the savagery of “Palestinians”.

I never understood why the Irish resented Israel so much, with so little contact between the two peoples throughout history. It seems that they are against Israel almost as much as some Arab countries are. 🙁

I’ve wondered the same. The best guess I can come up with is the legacy of Jew hatred from the Catholic Church. But it doesn’t require that kind of influence: my impression is that anti-Semitism flourishes in Japan, where no cultural legacy of it exists.

i do not know the politics of our premier varadkar but it is suspect. he and his cronies are at the moment destroying ireland with unvetted, undocumented immigration while our own people sleep in doorways in our capital city. 25% of our small population are now foreign and they want to bring in millions more. varadkar at the moment is visiting washington and new york for the annual st. pat’s beano, where he will be meeting the diaspora. if i was there i would be mounting a peaceful protest. this is insane and the irish people would not veto this move. save ireland please! do not boycott our small beautiful country with great people. the politicians and their ilk have forsaken us.

This unwelcome development is linked to the issue of striking out Israel from a school map during multi-cultural week in a Georgia school.
The Varadker regime in Ireland is anti white and anti Christian {as depicted in the scheme Ireland 2040}.
Think of Varadker as a sort of Irish Trudeau.
As I mentioned earlier, the front is everywhere, even Christian Catholic Ireland.

Ireland is seriously infected with the virus of liberal democracy aka Marxism. Just last year the people voted overwhelmingly to allow abortion, which had been banned by the Irish Constitution.Methinks they need anew revolution before they go the way of the rest of Europe. It’s hard to understand why the Irish would want to be like the Brits whom they loathe?

What…just 2 years ago? Ireland tried this same law but just for anything made in Israel and bought back not Ireland. I think Trump dropped kicked them so the law did not pass. I think it was on this site. Getting old can not remember.
