Rashida Tlaib whining about being shushed is particularly rich. The axis of evil — Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are on the front page of every newspaper and lead most cable and broadcast news networks daily, and she comp;ains about being shushed. The gall. These are the new stars of the Democrat Party and the new darlings of the left: the exponents of socialism and Jew-hatred.
The hardest part of serving in Congress as a WOC & as a "first" is how people hear you differently. No matter how much we take on the hate & stay true to who we are through our experiences, our voices are shushed and reduced. We aren't perfect, but neither is this institution.

Their voices are shushed and reduced? Then why is CNN doing a segment on all the attention Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib are getting?
As always, CNN comes through with the chyron: “Some freshmen house Dems bring energy and issues.” Yes, they certainly have issues. On Monday, Tlaib lamented the station of women of color in Congress who must fight through the hate to be heard.
Might we suggest that Congress was never perfect, but it certainly was much closer to perfect before the newest hot mess of a freshman class was sworn in?
What was the purpose of this tweet, anyway? To garner sympathy? To take Congress down a peg? It’s hard out here for a congresswoman who sits down to dinner with a prominent donor who compares Israel to ISIS and publishes her work in Louis Farrakhan’s newsletter.

Everyone’s voice is “shushed and reduced” in Congress. It’s called parliamentary procedure. You wait your turn to speak. You put in your time, accumulate favors owed for favors made, raise funds for your biennial re-election, and with seniority, you get your increasingly unshushed and unreduced voice heard on influential and powerful committees. But it requires patience and gamesmanship.
Rashida Tlaib has probably never submitted to any kind of parliamentary procedure. She merely had to invoke her female, Muslim, and person of color privilege and proceed to run her mouth.
Only a four times greater Muslim man can shush her using his right to beat her gently. Everyone else must clear her path and not speak to her unless spoken to.

This is what America has come to. When the democrats voted to remove God from their platform in 2012 they only had one way to go – down!
