The United States might deploy intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Europe in light of Russia’s blatant, ongoing violations of Cold War-era arms-control treaty. Putin has said Russia would be forced to respond by placing hypersonic nuclear missiles on submarines near U.S. waters. Here’s the thing: we would already have those missiles in place had Obama not surrendered to Putin. BHO gave up everything and got nothing in return, except, of course, being made a complete ass of. After Putin’s warning, Russian TV lists nuclear targets in U.S.

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian state television has listed U.S. military facilities that Moscow would target in the event of a nuclear strike, and said that a hypersonic missile Russia is developing would be able to hit them in less than five minutes.
The targets included the Pentagon and the presidential retreat in Camp David, Maryland.
The report, unusual even by the sometimes bellicose standards of Russian state TV, was broadcast on Sunday evening, days after President Vladimir Putin said Moscow was militarily ready for a “Cuban Missile”-style crisis if the United States wanted one.
With tensions rising over Russian fears that the United States might deploy intermediate-range nuclear missiles in Europe as a Cold War-era arms-control treaty unravels, Putin has said Russia would be forced to respond by placing hypersonic nuclear missiles on submarines near U.S. waters.
The United States says it has no immediate plans to deploy such missiles in Europe and has dismissed Putin’s warnings as disingenuous propaganda. It does not currently have ground-based intermediate-range nuclear missiles that it could place in Europe.
However, its decision to quit the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty over an alleged Russian violation, something Moscow denies, has freed it to start developing and deploying such missiles.
Putin has said Russia does not want a new arms race, but has also dialled up his military rhetoric.
Some analysts have seen his approach as a tactic to try to re-engage the United States in talks about the strategic balance between the two powers, something Moscow has long pushed for, with mixed results.
In the Sunday evening broadcast, Dmitry Kiselyov, presenter of Russia’s main weekly TV news show ‘Vesti Nedeli’, showed a map of the United States and identified several targets he said Moscow would want to hit in the event of a nuclear war.
The targets, which Kiselyov described as U.S. presidential or military command centers, also included Fort Ritchie, a military training center in Maryland closed in 1998, McClellan, a U.S. Air Force base in California closed in 2001, and Jim Creek, a naval communications base in Washington state.
Kiselyov, who is close to the Kremlin, said the “Tsirkon” (‘Zircon’) hypersonic missile that Russia is developing could hit the targets in less than five minutes if launched from Russian submarines.
Hypersonic flight is generally taken to mean traveling through the atmosphere at more than five times the speed of sound.
“For now, we’re not threatening anyone, but if such a deployment takes place, our response will be instant,” he said.

Asked to comment on Kiselyov’s report, the Kremlin said on Monday it did not interfere in state TV’s editorial policy.

Now you know why Trump is rebuilding and upgrading our military and added the Space Force.
In space we are very vulnerable. They can take out our satellites. Imagine the military functioning with out GPS and other sophisticated defense dependent on them. Obama purposely let everything deteriorate and used NASA as a “Muslim outreach”. Be grateful for whatever Trump can get done. He won’t be President forever. He may not get four more years. Trump withdrew from the nuclear arms treaty, INF, with Russia because they have been violating it. There was no point in the U.S. living up to the agreement when Russia wasn’t.
I don’t want the U.S. unable to defend itself. It reminds me of the “gun free zone” situation.
Ask yourself this, if Russia was honoring the nuclear arms agreement,
WHY DID PUTIN purchase 20% of our uranium for nuclear weapons from Hillary when she was Secretary of State? This had nothing to do with the swamp and everything to do with protecting our country and not disarming our country as others built up their arms. Iran claimed it needed uranium for “cancer treatment” – LOL!!!

The Guardian reported on Friday that Trump’s third national security adviser, John Bolton, a longstanding opponent of arms control treaties, was pushing for US withdrawal. The US says Russia has been violating the INF agreement with the development and deployment of a new cruise missile. Under the terms of the treaty, it would take six months for US withdrawal to take effect.
US hawks have also argued that the INF treaty ties the country’s hands in its strategic rivalry with China in the Pacific, with no response to Chinese medium-range missiles that could threaten US bases, allies and shipping.
Bolton and the top arms control adviser in the National Security Council (NSC), Tim Morrison, are also opposed to the extension of another major pillar of arms control, the 2010 New Start agreement with Russia, which limited the number of deployed strategic warheads on either side to 1,550. That agreement, signed by Barack Obama and Dmitri Medvedev, then president of Russia, is due to expire in 2021.

We’re the ones that have stayed in the agreement and we’ve honoured the agreement but Russia has not unfortunately honoured the agreement so we’re going to terminate the agreement, we’re going to pull out.”
Asked to clarify, the president said: “Unless Russia comes to us and China comes to us and they all come to us and they say, ‘Let’s all of us get smart and let’s none of us develop those weapons,’ but if Russia’s doing it and if China’s doing it and we’re adhering to the agreement, that’s unacceptable. So we have a tremendous amount of money to play with with our military.”
Jeffrey Lewis, the director of the East Asia nonproliferation program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, said: “This is a colossal mistake. Russia gets to violate the treaty and Trump takes the blame.
“I doubt very much that the US will deploy much that would have been prohibited by the treaty. Russia, though, will go gangbusters.”

1st. Bolton is the most knowledgeable man in any room he enters when it comes to foreign policy. 2nd. Russia can run their mouth all they like but they don’t have the money to do anything. They build boats, for instance, that are just hulls because they can’t afford to purchase engines for them nor can they afford to build factories to make said engines. Their military’s battle weapon of choice is a “new and improved” AK-47! As any Vietnam vet knows, the AK is no good for anything but jungle warfare. Russia may, and I mean may, have one hypersonic missile for show but they can’t afford those either. Color me not shaking in my jungle boots!

Well, I can only tell you what a martial artist I know of who runs a martial arts school in China has said about the Chinese. He says the Chinese men are by and large weaklings who can’t do 10 push ups without a break and the Chinese don’t appear to be too bright. That’s why they all want to come to America to go to college. I realize this is only opinion and hearsay but consider the following:
1st. China has a much larger national debt (about $30 trillion) than America.
2nd. The technology the “have” is mostly stolen from America because they can’t figure it out themselves.
3rd. Their economy is in a shambles and heading south since they can’t figure out how to make a free market economy work for them because they only know about socialism. Years ago they started building whole cities to give people work but those cities set empty. No one lives there and no one wants to. They continue to do what Obama did with his “stimulus” and they reap the same result. Money flows down the toilet just like the 3/4 trillion Obama spent and got nothing for except bad investments in solar companies that went bankrupt.
4th. They’ve gotten themselves in a jam with their “1 child per family” policy and it will soon come back to haunt them with their population demographics after all these years. They place little value on women so now men way out number women there and the women have become very particular as to whom they want to procreate with. So the men have to look elsewhere.
In short, not a pretty picture for them either.

We have the same choices as every other country which gets itself in to debt it can’t repay. We can either default or print money. Most countries print money and turn into Zimbabwe and Venezuela. And the ONLY reason they are competitive at all in most industries, particularly IT is because they offered the cheapest labor on the planet to one and all. And of course were therefore given the “blueprints” for the technology by greedy firms. And even then they simply reverse engineered everything else. They literally clone “everything”. One of my friends worked at a company that hired a Chinese H1B, one day it was noticed throughout the office that the internet speed had slowed to a crawl, when the admins tracked down the problem they found the computer of the Chinese H1B was the culprit and it was sending the entire source code of their product to an external IP address. The Chinese H1B had already left the office (i.e. before his attempt at corporate espionage was complete) and was never heard from again.

President Putin is a devout Christian leader. He refuses to allow atheistic liberal democracy, the new form of Marxism, to take over his country. Not saying this should not be taken seriously because all threats should be. But through out it’s history the Soviet Union and Russia has overstated their armament with absurd claims. I recall how they claimed the T72 ,T64, 62 55, 54 and other tanks would decimate American tanks. It was quite the opposite. The old M-60 wiped out the Russian tanks in the Six day war and during the subsequent American interventions an American Calvary Company or Troop M1 tanks destroyed a much larger force of Russians. The same with their aircraft always blown out of proportion.

Sometimes, the best way to end an “enemy” is to make them your friend. I mean, it worked out for Germany and Japan, right? After the Cold War ended, maybe it was a mistake not to have invited Russia to join the ranks of NATO.
