A terrorist who plots terror attacks in New York City deserves life in prison.
Mississauga man, 20, sentenced to 40 years in NYC terror plot
A young Canadian convicted of plotting terrorist attacks in New York City has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.

His lawyer says the sentence was handed down to 20-year-old Abdulrahman El Bahnasawy on Wednesday.
The stiff punishment comes despite defence arguments El Bahnasawy was entrapped.
Prosecutors had called for a life sentence.
They have said El Bahnasawy was living at home in a Toronto suburb when he began online correspondence with a high-level ISIS recruiter.

It wilkl cost the American taxpayer about $2,000,000 to keep this one vile savage locked up. At The same time, he will be recruiting and training new terrorists. If you lock up 1000 of these guys you are talking about 2 billion and 100,000,which is about accurate its $200 billion. Methinks there has to be a better solution.

Do not return him to Canada until his full prison term has been served. In a prisoner transfer he may very well get parole in ten to thirteen years. Remember Omar Khadr? Justin Trudope loves jihadis.

What crime did he commit under CANADIAN law? He’ll be deported back to Canada once his US sentence is finished, but he didn’t commit any crime there.

He’ll be free in less than 15 years as long as he doesn’t get caught killing anyone while he’s in prison. LESS than 15 years. And he’ll build his connections while getting his college degree for free.
