Prime Minister Scott Morrison has launched a blistering attack on Muslim leaders planning to boycott a meeting with him.
Some Muslim leaders decided not to attend a planned meeting with Mr Morrison this week because his comments after the Bourke Street terrorist attack “alienated” segments of their community.
In a statement posted on social media, Mr Morrison declared the meeting would go ahead regardless of the boycott.
Story continues below advertisement“The meeting is going ahead with those who want to deal with this issue seriously rather than look the other way,” he said.
Mr Morrison said those that had boycotted the meeting were in denial.
“Continuing down a path of denial only lets their communities down. It makes their communities less safe and more vulnerable.”
A letter signed by nine Muslim leaders including Grand Mufti Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed and Australian Federation of Islamic Councils President Dr Rateb Jneid, said the meeting would not go ahead until attendees were confident their “views and concerns” would be respected.
“Many in the Muslim community including the undersigned are deeply concerned and disappointed with statements made by senior Government ministers and the prime minister in the recent past which infer that the community is collectively culpable for the criminal actions of individuals and should be doing more to prevent such acts of violence,” the letter read.
In the days following the November 9 attack, Mr Morrison said he supported religious freedom, but not “radical, violent, extremist Islam”.
“Here in Australia, we would be kidding ourselves if we did not call out the fact that the greatest threat of religious extremism in this country is the radical and dangerous ideology of extremists,” Mr Morrison said.
The Muslim leaders letter released today said those statements “have achieved nothing to address underlying issues, but rather, have alienated large segments of the Muslim community.”…
The Council called the attack a national tragedy but said it was “outraged” by Mr Morrison’s recent comments linking Islam to a radical and dangerous ideology….

Muslims stick together when it comes to harming, raping or murdering non believers and will not rat on other Muslims that are about to prove how DEVOUT they are. .P.M. Morrison needs to remove his head from where the sun doesn’t shine and end the madness. I doubt he will have the courage to do that. In fact, I’d be shocked if he did anything about it but have fiery rhetoric once in a while as others are killed. It’s not proper in elite circles to address Islam at large for the VIOLENT ideology it is.

In addition to the Muslim theological documents mentioned above, Islamic social norms encourage violence. It is widely noted that Friday is the most likely day when jihad attacks will occur within Muslim society. This is because the mullahs use their Friday pulpits to encourage their flock to commit violence in the name of Islam.
3. Islam does not allow criticism or change.
Islam considers anyone who criticizes or tries to change Islam guilty of blasphemy.

Good leader, I am impressed with Australia. They have many people who are aware of the danger of Islam and have been bravely dealing with the hate/scorn from Leftists/Muslims and have been telling the truth about Islam and calling for it to be banned and Muslims deported.
If things keep going this way, I believe Australia will be the first western country to start deporting Muslims, then Italy. Maybe I’m being too optimistic and perhaps they might still cave to political correctness but I suspect they are waking up and are sick of Islamic terrorism.
Should they succeed, it’ll set a precedent for other western countries to follow. Of course it does come down to having strong leadership so those nations still ruled by leaders who bow to Islam will continue to suffer until they put the right people in power.

I’d like to believe what you hope for has possibilities. The world desperately needs someone to call ISLAM what it is – a VIOLENT BELIEF where you will have NO PEACE unless YOU submit to Islam. No matter what version the Quran is, they can’t hide the VIOLENCE and HATE in it. If it would do any good, I’d SEND him a Quran.

Excellent actions and comments by the PM Morrison. He needs to keep the heat on the Muslim leaders to end the ‘radical, violent, extremist Islam’. Everyone can support that can’t they? Of course the problem for Islam is 1400 years of jihad. Now the Muslim leaders are faced with a dilemma. Where is the peaceful Islam they have been talking about? It’s showtime.

Brave sounding words, but PM Morrison does not really get it. He’s just a politician talking. Islam and Muslims are enemies of Western democracy. You don’t defeat enemies by working with them, you work -against- them.

This means that Australia needs to adopt laws which reflect America’s Second Amendment.

Is it not to hold those preaching hatred, intolerance, violence and radical extremism accountable?
Is it not reporting these immams, prophets, leaders and mosques to the authorities?
Is it not having concern for the country, communities and citizens that have allowed you to have the freedom and opportunities today?
Is it not to show that Islam is not the violent, evil ideology everyone knows it as?
Is it not to use your power as a leader and example to your worshippers and community that this behaviour is not tolerated and the Muslim community will turn its back on you if you are involved in violence against its host nation?
If Scott Morrison has done anything positive, it’s shining the light on what this ideology and it’s leaders really think about us…and it’s not a good look for them! Those that refuse to come to the meeting should be held responsible if anything happens no ifs or buts!
