Imagine: if Obama were still President, he would have given North Korea billions of dollars by now, and nothing would be solved, no tensions decreased. But President Trump, by reasserting American strength and determination, has brought the two sides together for talks for the first time. He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, but will not get it, as the Leftists who give out that Prize only give it for sham efforts at peace (Yasser Arafat, Barack Obama), not for the genuine article. Nonetheless, even this meeting between Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in is in itself world-historical, and the man who deserves all the credit is Donald Trump.
“Trump: ‘Korean War to End’ Because ‘Good Things Are Happening’ in Meeting,” by Andrew Kugle, Washington Free Beacon, April 27, 2018:

“After a furious year of missile launches and Nuclear testing, a historic meeting between North and South Korea is now taking place. Good things are happening, but only time will tell!” Trump tweeted.
Trump followed up with another tweet that the Korean War was to end.
“KOREAN WAR TO END! The United States, and all of its GREAT people, should be very proud of what is now taking place in Korea!” Trump tweeted.
The leaders of North and South Korea agreed to officially end the war between the two countries, according to CNN.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in and his North Korean counterpart, Kim Jong Un, signed the “Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification on the Korean Peninsula,” at the demilitarized zone (DMZ) that has divided the two countries for more than six decades.
