Terrorism has no link to Islam, says Arab League

56

More taqiyya. It is not non-Muslims who have linked terrorism to Islam, it is the Islamic terrorists themselves who have done so. It is they who point to the Quran and Sunnah to justify their actions. It is they who quote the Quran’s passages counseling war to make recruits among Muslims for jihad groups. But the Arab League isn’t talking to them. It is talking to the non-Muslims who dare to notice the Islamic component in contemporary terrorism. The Arab League wants those non-Muslims to keep quiet, so that the jihad can advance unopposed and unimpeded.

“Terrorism has no link to Islam, says Arab League”, by Javed Hamim Kakar, Pajhwok Afghan News, April 16, 2018:

KABUL (Pajhwok): The 29th Arab Summit — Al-Quds Summit — has strongly condemned attempts to link terrorism to Islam, a religion that sets great store by peace.

Story continues below advertisement

Leaders and heads of Arab countries, who met in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, issued the call in a unanimous declaration on Sunday

“We affirm the illegality of the American decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. We categorically refuse to recognise Al-Quds as the capital of Israel, where East Al-Quds will remain the capital of Palestine.

“We warn against taking any action that would change the current legal and political status of Al-Quds,” they said in the declaration issued at the end of the summit.

The summit welcomed the decision of the UN General Assembly on Al-Quds, commending the states that supported it. They promised continued efforts to re-launch effective Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations on ending the political stalemate resulting from the intransigence of the Israeli position.

The conflict could be ended through a two-state solution that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with the July 1967 borders and East Al-Quds as its capital, the declaration says……

“We strongly condemn attempts to link terrorism and Islam. We call upon the international community … to issue a unified definition of terrorism. Terrorism has no religion, no homeland and no identity.”

All countries were urged to shoulder their responsibilities to combat this dangerous scourge. “We deplore the distortion by some extremist groups of the image of the true religion of Islam by linking it to terrorism, and warn that such attempts serve terrorism itself.”

Let me ponder your comment. YOU were the one that called others “Dimwit”.
I make contributions, small as they may be, to this site, David Horowitz Freedom Center, Gabriel’s Act for America (ain’t she quite the firebrand) NRA-ILA and, if the spirit strikes me, a few others.
That has nothing to do with calling others, that despise moslems, “dimwits”.
Therefore, if there is no call to judge your efforts, why are you judging others?

Islam is a religion of peace, accepted and practiced by more than 1.25 billion people worldwide. It is the fastest-growing religion in the world, and if it was what some critics claim, why should the people from all walks of life from around the world keep embracing Islam?

Where is the sword now?

In Islam, a person has the right to defend himself, his family, his country or his neighbour(s), which justifies the resistance being offered by the people of Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, Iraq, Kashmir and Palestine, to attacks on their soils by the so-called liberators, who are actually the occupiers.

The Holy Qur’an clearly states that if a person saves one life, it’s as if he saved humanity, and if a person kills one human being, it’s as if he killed humanity.

What is happening in the enslaved Muslim countries is a natural reaction to occupation, bombings, killing and terrorizing of innocent civilians (children, old men and women), rapes, in addition to looting of resources, national antiques and artifacts, above all destruction of property by the occupiers.

Terror breeds terror.

We assure those who bash Islam that if there was no occupation in this world by foreign invaders, there would be no resistance – the so-called terror.

We would like those who criticize Islam to explain the following acts committed by the Christians on Jews, other Christians and Muslims alike, throughout history:

– Hundreds of thousands of Muslim men, women and children killed by the crusaders, who were Christians.

– Inquisition of Jews and Muslims from Spain by Queen Isabella, a Christian.

– Millions of people killed by the European and American Christians during the two world wars.

– Hundreds of thousands of Christians killed every year by the Irish Christians, including the British and the IRA, both Catholics and Protestants, during the past few centuries. Why are they not blamed to be “Christian Terrorists?”

Both of them believe in Jesus Christ, who told them to turn the other cheek, and both of them believe in the same Lord, Who commanded that “Thou shall not kill.” Period.

– Timothy McVeigh, who bombed the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, was a Catholic. Are all Catholics terrorists?

Last but not least, the bombings, killings, raping and lynching of both American Indians and black slaves (Afro-Americans) during the past 200 years in the United States.

What about them?

Will those filled with hate for Islam blame Christianity for the above inhuman acts by Christians in various parts of the world since its inception?

If not, then why are they blaming the religion of Islam for what is a natural reaction to occupation of Muslim countries by foreign invaders?

Most importantly, these folks should know that the three (3) great Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam – have one common basis, and that is one (1) God Almighty, according to the first Commandment, “Thou shall not worship anyone besides Me.”

“All men (and women) are created equal, and we all are one nation under Almighty God,” is a statement according to the Holy Qur’an and is very well elucidated in the U.S. Constitution.

Lastly, yet importantly, as brothers in humanity, we recommend those filled with hate get an education in the history of Islam and Muslims, before they dare to write nasty letters full of personal, ingrain hate and vendetta.

We would be pleased to provide anyone with free copies of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic literature in English, which would help them to understand the truth about Islam and Muslims and get rid of hate from their systems, God willing.

May God Almighty show you the light, Amen.

Lie upon lie, upon lie … which is to be expected from the vilest of ALL creatures. Within the history of mankind, there has never been one single, solitary moslem that was even capable of telling the truth.

Here’s another bald faced lie, from a thing (moslem) ..

Queeranne 5:32 Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

Notice, that even in the queeranne, in states “We decreed upon the Children of Israel” …. That was a command given to human beings, NOT to moslems (the vilest of ALL creatures).

This is what is commanded for moslems to follow:

Queeranne 5:33

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

Vile, foul smelling, filthy … moslems … ALL moslems are the same.
Jews are commanded to not murder and to help their fellow man.
Whereas, moslems (the vilest of ALL creatures) are commanded to lie, torture, and murder.
So, little iffy .. What’s your answer to that?

The Quran teaches that people should not be converted by force: “Let there be no compulsion in religion” (2:256a).

Nonetheless, the doctrine of jihad has led many to allege that Islam was spread by the sword. This is a fair charge, but it needs to be qualified.

Muslims follow not only the Quran, which they believe is a literal transcript of God’s words, but also the Hadith, accounts of Muhammad’s words and deeds. These words and deeds are considered inspired by God and an example for Muslims to follow. According to one widely accepted hadith, whenever Muhammad would send an out expedition, he would admonish his appointed commander:

When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to [accept] Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. … If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them.[12]

The jizya, a kind of tribute, was part of a larger deal in which non-Muslims submitted to several conditions. In addition to paying the jizya, non-Muslims were also required to wear distinctive clothing and mark their houses (which must not be built higher than Muslims’ houses), must not scandalize Muslims by openly performing their worship services, nor build new churches or synagogues. Those who owned land were also required to pay a land tax.[13]

According to some Muslim jurists, the jizya had to be paid by each person at a humiliating public ceremony, in which the person was struck on the head or the nape of the neck. According to historian Bat Ye’or, this ceremony “survived unchanged till the dawn of the twentieth century.”[14]

Both the jizya and the land tax were often extorted through torture, and were frequently so exorbitant that whole villages would flee or go into hiding.

Technically, then, Christians and Jews were not forced to accept Islam at the point of a sword. But their treatment nonetheless placed them under severe pressure to convert.

And many idolaters were not even allowed to pay the jizya. They were forced to either convert or die.

That is a lengthy comment, Iftikhar Ahmad, so I skimmed through to try to get the jest of what you are communicating. In due respect, you won’t find one qur’an on my book shelves, anymore that you will find the Book of Mormon or any occult or new age literature on my shelves. Don’t have time for it. I forsook that literature after I surrendered my life to Jesus is my Master and Savior. I challenge you to show me the exact chapter and verse in the qur’an where Judaism and Christianity is revered and highly esteemed by islam. (If it is esteem by islam, the qur’an is contradicting itself.) The Holy Bible is my only book of instructions for righteous living. You are too late; the Eternal God I serve has shown me the light.

Do know a lot of Christians who keep such books you mentioned merely as references. Many pastors and Bible teachers do so to keep informed. That is fine, as long as they are not lured by them.

I came from a life of doing horoscopes for people, and had a whole library of books on the occult. Was also heavy on yoga, eastern religions and so forth. Was searching for answers, but was looking at the wrong source.

After re-surrendering my life to Jesus and getting filled with the Holy Spirit, I got rid of the occult library. And when I started to crack open the Book of Mormon, I heard an inner voice (almost audible) say, “NO!!! DON’T READ IT!!!”

Will qualify my statements about keeping some books by Christian authors who warn against the teachings of Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and other cults, and how to refute what they say, and even try to convince them that there is no other way to heaven except through Jesus, and Him alone (John 14:6). Have had friendly rounds with JWs at my workplace, and with those who came to my door, but I’ve tried to speak the truth in love.

One day at my workplace, some JW offered some Watchtower literature, and I started to read it. Then all kinds inner flashing red lights and sirens went off. As long as that piece of literature was in my apartment, the inner warnings kept getting louder and louder. I finally ripped up the literature and threw it into the trash.

Am thankful for those who can keep the qur’an and other things as mere references. But where I came from (that is, a marvelous deliverance from the occult), I now “pinch hit” in preaching and teaching the Bible when asked by the pastor, whether at a home Bible study or at the church. So, if I seem passionate against false teachings, this is why I don’t keep questionable books and literature.

I keep the Mormon book, right alongside the queeranne. I don’t keep them for reference or research. I keep them as an example of, … but for the grace of God, there could I be.
It’s interesting that you mention soothsaying. I used to read the daily horoscope published in newspapers. Each time that I would turn to it, I would feel a sense of guilt, almost to the level of shame, for doing so. In my tradition … those things were never mentioned or addressed, so I always wondered why those feelings would wash over me.

We do not hold Norwegian Christians responsible for the actions of the fascist Andres Breivik, whose 2011 rampage left 77 dead. We do not hold white people collectively responsible for Timothy McVeigh, the US neo-Nazi whose 1995 Oklahoma City bomb killed 168 people, or for David Copeland, the former BNP member who planted bombs across London in 1999. Nor should anyone suggest that all Muslims are collectively responsible for yesterday’s attack.

The true honest practicing Muslims were all absolutely shocked and remorseful about what happened in Westminster, Manchester,London Bridge and Barcelona. This is a huge tragedy and a loss for all as humanitarians. This is so sad. Muslim community unconditionally condemns and repudiates the bombings that took place in Boston and brutal killing of a British soldier. We share the pain of fellow Americans and Brits and express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed or injured in this vicious attack. The killing of innocents can never be justified. And, it is our hope that the perpetrator(s) of this horrible act soon be apprehended and brought to justice. There is about 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, and how many commit atrocities like this? And last time I checked the Aurora shooter’s and the Sandy Hook shooter’s religious beliefs were not publicized and connected to their acts. Religion is only an important factor when its not Christian.

Prejudice against Islam in the West developed due to historic rivalry of Christianity against Islam. The defeat of Christians by the Muslims in Crusades was a big shock for the Christian world. These deep wounds are still so fresh in the Christian world today that the parents, media, politicians and teachers feel it a duty to nurture the feelings of prejudice against Islam in the hearts and minds of their young generations. According to Runnymede Trust, Britain has become “an institutionally Islamophobic” society in which Muslims are demonised. Hostility towards Muslims is still a major problem and is not being taken seriously enough by race relations bodies. According to Dr. Richard Stone, there is now renewed talk of a clash of civilizations, a new global cold war, and mounting concern that the already fragile foothold gained by Muslim communities in Britain is threatened by ignorance and intolerance. According to John Gieve of the Home office, Islamic extremism might be a “symptom of disaffection”. The same disaffection previously surfaced during the riots that shook Oldham and Bradford in 2001.

The hatred of Islam and Muslims reaches such peaks that it presides over the strangest, most radical political about-face, sometimes. So, the nationalist far right now often presents itself as feminist (to better bash Muslims on gender equality) but also as pro-gay rights (to bash Muslims on their supposed homophobia) and even animal rights activists (to better justify banning ritual slaughter) etc. etc. etc.

How are we defining Terrorism here? Does the terrorism of the U.S. armed forces dropping death from above via drone count? In the United States more people have been killed by vending machines since 9/11 than by ‘Terrorists’ Let’s have some perspective. The deaths from ‘terror’ pale into comparison if you compare them to the annual fatalities from agricultural accidents, road deaths and the yearly population cull that America gives itself for failing to have proper gun control legislation. The US military are the real terrorists here. When the word religion is mentioned, in 99.9% of cases it is a euphemism for Islam. George Bush repeatedly claimed to be fighting for God and never missed an opportunity to use God and religion to justify his actions, we can see Israeli politicians/terrorists using religion to justify their actions daily – Islam doesn’t have a monopoly on violent, murdering scumbags. The west created the instability in most of these countries that are severely affected by terrorism. We should probably be sorting it out. Should the shooting of children by an occupying force be classed as terrorism? Is the destruction of olive groves by settlers economic terrorism? What, exactly, constitutes terrorism?

How can you expect to combat terrorism when most terrorist organisations are the creation of US? ISIS, Al-Qaida were founded and financed by the US to create wars that the US needs in order to “democratise” countries. Al comes with a price. Some pay with their lives, some pay cash…The stakes revolve around the control of resources, energy and consumer markets… A lot of these terrorist groups wouldn’t exist if the US hadn’t spent the last 30 years encouraging, funding and arming them as proxies in the region. The US record on picking the ‘good guys’ is appalling and a lot of the problems of the Middle East are directly attributable to their crack handed meddling over the years.
