This is the new Germany: women wearing pants equipped with rape alarms. This is the diversity and multiculturalism that Merkel’s disastrous immigration policies have brought to Germany. But the lingering question is, what will happen if a woman sounds this alarm? Will police come and arrest the perpetrator? Or will they have to determine first that no “Islamophobia” has been committed? The problem is not just that the German authorities have left women unsafe, it is that they have shown that their priority is the Muslim migrants, and not anything that makes the migrants look bad. Tasers are illegal, for civilian use, in many US states. Even “stun guns” are illegal in MA, MI, HI, NJ, NY, RI, WI, PA. I believe Tasers are illegal, for civilian use, in over twenty states.

Here in Nohio, Tasers are legal. But, there are various municipalities that ban them. On the other hand, the Nohio Supreme Court (for this decision, I’ll call them the Ohio Supreme Court) has held that counties and municipalities cannot override state law. Three big cases involving Cleveland. However, due that ruling, I can either carry concealed, holding the appropriate CHL, or can open carry, rifle, shotgun or hawgleg strapped to my hip. However, I’m subject to up to six months if caught with a Taser, within the city limits of Rocky River. I believe that I’ll take my chances with a sidearm.

Sorry, but that is not true. In Germany you can buy pepper spray in several stores, even in the drugstore. But at the spray can there must be a note, that it is against animals. Normally it is not allowed to use it against people. But if there is someone who attacks you, it is allowed to use it. Because of the paragraph concerning self-defense.
I have a pepper spray in my handbag since June 2016. I hope that I never have to use it.
It is a shame, that the TV channels don’t report about the many of crimes committed by migrants. When you only look TV, it seems to be every thing is ok in Germany. But if you are reading internet newspapers, you notice, that there is nothing ok anymore in our country.

Your English is excellent. Moreover, it’s ASE as opposed to that insipid BSE with “labour”, “colour”, “whilst”, etc. But, Geduldete, most capsicum sprays have a shelf life. If you are carrying it for self defense, it is best to look at the dates. Keeping it in your purse is fine, however, when walking outside … such as to return to your vehicle or walking home … do NOT keep it in your purse, carry it in your hand. Is Bear Spray available? Supposedly, it is far stronger. Another substance is wasp spray … the type that has the long distance spray, often spraying foam. That is, supposedly, very effective, yet it can cause permanent blindness .. which, if you are being attacked and are in danger .. who give a hoot about the attacker?

I have read about its use, other than for wasps and hornets. However, I cannot vouch for it, as I have never used it. Moreover, I know of no one that has, other than for wasps and hornets. I do know that it surely will clean up a hornet’s nest. On the label, there is the caution/warning that it may cause permanent blindness.

The American English is a result of Nathanial Webster creating an American language for the new nation which in fact was created mainly by Englishmen, and women of course. When in Japan and The Republic of Korea, all contracts and LOI, not in kanji or Hangul were ASE. But I hope, that I don’t need it. And meanwhile we know, that it is not the same if a German do something or a muslim.
For example: there have been two cases of fire raising:
1. Two drunken Germans took fire on a refugee center which was inhabited. A german woman drived them to the center. Nobody was hurt.
2. Two drunken refugees took fire on a refugee center which was inhabited. Nobody was hurt.
In case 1 the two Germans get 7 and 8 years imprisonment. The german woman, who drive them with her car to the center gets 4,5 years because without driving them to the center, they are not able to took fire on it. And this was more than the prosecuting attorney wanted for the woman.

The tatami, used for tamishigiri is green and heavy. The stuff on the floor, although made of bamboo, is totally different. The cutting mats are pricey, that’s why so many people use milk jugs filled with water. Not the same feel or experience, but they (milk jugs and two liter soda bottles) are suitable for “sharpening” one’s technique. It’s a lot of fun …. Look into it, an inexpensive hobby … once the price of a decent sword is subtracted.

What are you seeking and what would be its use? Anything made from stainless steel (mall ninja sword), might make a pretty decoration, but even the finest of high carbon stainless is too brittle for a blade over thirteen inches. If that’s what you want, you can pick up a three piece set, katana, wakizashi, and tanto, with stand for around twenty-five to thirty dollars. If you just want a decent backyard cutter, milk jugs, some bamboo, or such … You can pick up a 1045 C … sharpened, but it will need more sharpening, for around forty bucks, on Amazon. I saw some OK ones full tang and two mekugi pegs, on Amazon for 38 bucks … bought twenty. As, some people like to come over and “play ninja” to the absolute horror of their wives …. then, if they really enjoy it and they’re wife is vehemently against it … I’ll offer them one as a gift … and let them think that I’m really a high roller. If you’re looking for a decent cutter but don’t want to drop much … I think the brand is “Musashi” (named after the famous swordsman), they make a 1060, dual clay tempered piece for around 150 or so. If you want something a little better, You can find some T-10 monosteel, clay tempered swords for around four hundred and, truthfully, those aren’t bad swords. Not wanting to drop multiple thousands, look at Paul Chen’s Hanwei Forge offerings … some are lower end (300 or so) but some VERY nice pieces for around a thousand or so. Now, all of those swords have two mekugi pegs. If you’re wanting something authentic, with one peg, there are some “non certified” swordsmiths, in Japan, that put out EXCELLENT swords, with around twelve thousand layers of folded steel … decent tsuba and overall a very nice sword … those will set you back around a three thousand … for a REALLY good, plain basic katana. There are some top line swordsmiths, in Japan, where their offerings will start at around twelve large. If you want a decent, but no collectible value sword (300 to 1000 range), You can find some decent offerings at cultofathena.com. There are several others, but I rather like Hanwei’s offerings and their prices are quite reasonable for those. But, if you want something that’s really fun, start out with a 1045C or 1060C cheapie … and start slicing.

You can get a traditional Japanese white oak boken for under one hundred dollars. Or, an OK oak Chinese made one .. not the best balance … but OK for less than twenty, inclusive of shipping. I only have the one that I was given around twenty-five years ago.

I used to butcher deer for an outfitter buddy.One season I did 26…Among my other cutting tools I have a copy of a short machete they took to the moon…It’s high carbon,about 18″ total length with a razor sharp convex edge blade.The grip has a leather lanyard to put around your hand/wrist.
I’d hang the deer up by the hind legs and skin it down and pull the skin over the head.Then I’d attach my NASA machete with lanyard,and swing it like I meant it.
Took EVERY head clean off with ONE swing.

Here’s the problem with today’s issues. To be official, so that you’re not heavily fined and censured, at least on the Mameluke, you have to purchase them from some Swiss company and they’re made of stainless steel and dull. However, Cold Steel makes an excellent one and that sucker will chop, slice and dice. On the NCO dress sword, that has been the sword since its adoption prior to the Civil War. If made with decent steel, that is a fine saber for a foot combatant. Both swords, with decent steel would make and excellent addition to any killing machine. I have no training in Western fencing or HEMA, but … to someone that did …. I believe they would find them excellent weapons
