President Trump is the first President in decades to deliver on this long time promise. Other presidents have talked about doing this but didn’t have the guts and the grit to do it.

The American embassy in a country should be in the capital of that country. Only with the Jews is this a big deal.
Jerusalem is at the heart and soul of Judaism. Jews worldwide face Jerusalem when we pray (as opposed to Muslims who face Mecca). Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Old Testament.
This puts to bed a number of anti-Israel resolutions – eliminates delusions.
The Jerusalem embassy act of 1995 finally is realized.
President Trump declared, the embassy will be a “magnificent monument to peace.”

The pope is in league with the Devil and it is voluntary on his part. The Pals will never accept Israel’s right to exist. Politicos have been pandering the Palestinians for decades while they continue to slaughter Jews/Israelis. The Jihadis do not need an excuse to murder and maim, it is inherent within their fetid DNA.

Kalambong; I concur but I do hold Pope John Paul in high-esteem. Although, I am not Roman Catholic, I do not believe every Roman Catholic deems this Pope, Francis, infallible. Take care.

I recall as a very young kid seeing Pope Pious XII; he too, in my childhood mind, reflected evil. His silence during the 30s and throughout the Holocaust confirmed it to me.
I am not anti-Catholic; I did and continue to admire Pope John Paul II; he was the antithesis of Francis. I didn’t mean to prattle, Drew, I’m old and the old brain sometimes prattles along.

Well, the one that always claimed to be a staunch ally of Israel would probably be the most fun. The contortions, drool, shaking, sweat, foul language, eyes rolling back in the head, and steam coming out of the ears would be quite entertaining I do believe. Hey, Pamela, I’m a Christian and to me this is a “big deal”. Anyone who has read their Bible and knows something of the country’s history, knows that King David was the first builder of Jerusalem, his son, King Solomon built the temple. Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar had the city destroyed and Persian King Cyrus commanded the Jews to go back from captivity and rebuild Jerusalem.
