UK: Teen Muslima drinks bleach after her father assaults her for being “too Westernized” and wearing makeup

Kevin Crehan got a year in prison for leaving a bacon sandwich at a mosque, and then died in prison under circumstances that have never been explained by British officials.
But assault your daughter and drive her to attempt suicide because she is not adhering to Muslim mores? Get a a nine-month community order with up to 15 days of rehabilitation activities.
Why the leniency? The reason is obvious. The perpetrator is Muslim. If the circumstances were all the same except that this father was non-Muslim, he would doubtless have received a much harsher sentence. But the first and foremost priority for British authorities is not appearing “Islamophobic.”

A TEEENAGE girl drank bleach and was attacked by her Muslim father who accused her of becoming “too Westernised”.
The 17-year-old provoked her parent’s anger by wearing make-up and failing to ask permission before going to the gym.
Police were called to the family’s home in Dewsbury, West Yorks on October 1 by paramedics, Kirklees magistrates were told.
Prosecutor Vanessa Jones said: “An ambulance was already there following a report that a young lady had drunk some bleach following a domestic incident.
“They were met by the brother of the 17-year-old victim, went upstairs and found her in a distressed state.
“She was sat on the edge of the bed, gasping for breath and clutching her arms and stomach.”
The frightened girl told police that her father had grabbed her by the shoulder and neck.
He then pushed her, causing her to fall over and hit a wardrobe.
Jones added: “The complainant gave a statement and was visited by the (Kirklees Council) safeguarding team.
“She said she felt that her father didn’t like the fact that she was becoming too westernised and that there had been previous violence.”
The 49-year-old defendant, who can not be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to an offence of assault by beating….
Paul Blanchard, mitigating, said that his client had a “significant amount of frustration” with his daughter but accepted that he shouldn’t have acted how he did.

Once again, we can see the cultural differences that exist between the world of Islam and us non-Muslims. Though I would expect that there are numerous believers within the Islamic world who will not allow their culture and antiquated customs and their belief system to cause harm to their own children; nevertheless, the reality is that Islam is a belief system that simply cannot accept the modern ways of free society living. The fact that the Islamic community refuses to reject its domineering ways, and the treatment of women as nothing more than property to be dealt with as they wish, and in many instances cause severe harm to their daughter’s, is evidence that these believers cannot accept the equal treatment and due process concepts that make the free world the special place that it is. Assimilation into our free society by those who comply with the outdated and antiquated belief system that is Islam just cannot happen because of the Islamic belief system that is so diametrically opposed to everything we here in the free world consider sanctimonious.

Your too nice to Islam . Islam is evil and the opposite of Godly. Any Muslim in my opinion who follows the Koran is following evil. It states in the Koran that Satan had many meetings with Muhammad and finally cajoled him in writing the Koran. Therefore, I hate all Muslims who follow the Koran.

This excellent article by Mr Spencer goes to the issue, Western governments are allowing and encouraging the twin problems of Islamification and violence in Western societies while simultaneously frustrating and obstructing the solutions. The solutions involve public confrontations in the street about dress codes, harassment of western women and terrorism generally.
One explanation for the leniency of the sentence might be that the magistrate might not have wanted the sentence challenged, perhaps he also felt under the circumstances he could not in law refer the case to a higher court for a harsher sentence. Anyway, the fact the girl was assaulted in the first place is for me the major problem because it reflects how Muslims in the UK sometimes feel they are due “considerations” under UK common law for their Islamic beliefs and social customs.
If I’m right about this, then the fault, as some suspect, falls directly at the feet of governments, church leaders and the partially sighted MSM.

Why do they have to keep apologizing for/to islime? I don’t really think it would do any good. The people make excuses for bad behavior just want to be p.c. I’ll be damned before I become pc. Who cares what others think at this stage of the game…and that is all it is, a game. When one has to allow evil, such as we see today, then it is just a game to see who can win. We will all loose.

Er, most girls vulnerable to this treatment are actually born in the west, it’s a recognised trait, the further a person is from his homeland and culture, the more he clings to it in every way he can. He was doing what was expected of him in Pakistan.

Poppey’s comment couldn’t be more correct. It is the reason why moslem immigrants are unable to assimilate into the West and cling to their misogynist practices. This incident was a cry for help from the unfortunate teenager who has now been roundly rebuffed by law enforcement agencies which should be protecting her. It’s no different to those “honour crime” victims sent back to third world homelands by their families which this site reported on yesterday.

Bleach was what Shafilea Ahmed, 17, from Bradford UK drank to prevent her forced marriage in Pakistan. Later, on return to England, her parents suffocated her with a plastic bag in front of her younger sister. She was “damaged goods”, an affront to her father’s Muslim male ownership and standing.
The teenage girl in this case is in similar grave danger.

Even animals look after their young unlike the living dead of the Arabian desert and it is hard to see any of them as worthy even of the name :”animal” (sorry Liatris Spicata). In fact, IMHO the mantis and the black widow could set a real “liberating” precedent for muslim women should they choose to imitate them.

This story simply does not make sense. A 49 year old cannot be named for legal reasons? What does that mean? Is this a news item from umm Britain? The unarmed individual became enraged and pushed daughter into a wardrobe after manhandling her for becoming too westernized in the West? There is a simple question that I am pondering. Why do people migrate, immigrate, go to Western lands by any means, and then insist on not acclimating, and indeed wish to continue the ways of the homelands they left? Do not they understand that their offspring, and they themselves will change. They will change.
So what is next? A decision made on whom she must marry?
I am one day soon going to explore matters of diversity, I am now persuaded that all is not what we have been fed. I feel sad for this teen.

The council leader there was on the end of several fliers from me together with a letter urging him and others to do what they did. After the vote, he disparaged those like myself who pointed to the Islamic subjugation issue. No thanks there.
