The FBI was in on the planning of the jihad plot to kill us at my Muhammad art exhibit. They were in constant contact with the jihadis and were even at our event, and yet never warned us or protected us. They still have not answered for that.
I have requested a line of inquiry three separate times by the FBI internal affairs. My requests have been met with a wall of silence.

I am glad this security guard is pursuing this. But Garland police need to be more transparent, too.
Additional details of the court filing outline the facts that thus far loosely support a theory that the guns purchased by Simpson and Soofi may have been connected to the botched “Fast and Furious” operation by the Department of Justice, but the FBI and DOJ have been stubborn in their release of information that would clarify that issue.
The Washington Examiner has recently requested documents from the Garland Police Department. Many of those documents were not released, however, because the department claimed that the investigation into the event was ongoing, despite the fact that the “case status” indicator in the reports for both Simpson and Soofi are marked as “closed/cleared.”
Open records advocates in Texas have called the use of the “pending” status to deny documents as a loophole that many police departments have used in the last twenty years after a minor change was made in the state’s open record laws in the mid 1990’s.
While I do believe that undercover FBI agents have to play along with the jihadis they’re dealing with, because in order to be in an informant you have to have credibility, it’s a whole other thing if you’re encouraging and cheering on the proposed murder of Americans who are standing in defense of the freedom of speech, and then not doing anything about it. Why did the FBI only have one agent there? And not a team waiting for them to shoot back?
The FBI knew about the attack before it happened, but did not alert law enforcement or my security apparatus. When I first heard that the FBI had prior notice of the attack, I thought that it was very short-term notice. It was assumed by many people that the FBI had had some sketchy prior knowledge of the attack, but nothing particularly specific.
But we know now they were in on the planning of the jihad attack, and did nothing about it. If you recall, the FBI only got around to to a general alert just three hours before our event. It was Garland police, not the FBI, that coordinated all the super security efforts with our own security team.
The FBI knew about the impending attack, one of their agents told Simpson to “tear up Texas,” and an accomplice of Simpson was even communicating with the undercover agent at the time of the attack.
The Daily Beast reported that this accomplice “asked the undercover officer about the Draw Muhammad event’s security, size, and police presence, during the event, according to an affidavit filed in court. The affidavit does not specify what the undercover responded to questions about size and security.” Why not? Why weren’t the agent’s answers released?
They knew about the attack, yet they didn’t have a team there in case the jihadis started shooting?
It’s hard to escape the conclusion that the Obama FBI wanted me and the other speakers at the event dead. Dutch freedom fighter Geert Wilders was the keynote speaker; he has been living with armed guards for years for supposedly “insulting Islam.” My colleague Robert Spencer has received numerous death threats from Muslims. Cartoon contest winner Bosch Fawstin drew Muhammad. Did Obama’s pro-Islam FBI want us all dead?
What other conclusion can be reached?
I’ve been trying to get my mind around this thing. What was Obama trying to do? Teach Americans a lesson? Enforce the edict that he enunciated in the wake of the Benghazi jihad slaughter, that “the future must not belong to those to slander the prophet of Islam”?
If people had died at our Garland event, the murders would have had a blood-chilling effect on the freedom of speech in America. That, in my view, appears to have been what the Obama administration wanted — and certainly that’s what the enemedia wanted in the wake of our event, as it gleefully and relentlessly blamed us for violating Sharia blasphemy laws and getting shot at.
Victim of ‘Draw Muhammad’ ISIS-inspired terror attack sues FBI, accuses James Comey of cover-up
The Washington Examiner, October 1, 2017:
The security guard wounded in a 2015 ISIS-inspired terrorist attack at the “Draw Muhammad” event in Garland, Texas, is suing the FBI, and argues the bureau is liable for his damages because an agent “solicited, encouraged, directed and aided members of ISIS in planning and carrying out the May 3 attack,” according to court documents filed Monday.
If the plaintiff, Bruce Joiner, doesn’t settle with the bureau, the case could shake loose hundreds of documents from both local and federal officials about what happened that day, and could answer the question of why an FBI agent was in a car directly behind the attackers and did nothing as the events unfolded.
In May of 2015, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi drove from their home in Phoenix to the Curtis Culwell center in Garland where the “Draw Muhammad” contest was being held, in a car loaded with three rifles, three handguns, and about 1,500 rounds of ammunition.
The two never made it inside, as guards, including Joiner, stopped them outside at a perimeter checkpoint, at which time Simpson and Soofi opened fire. Because the event was heavily guarded, the two were quickly shot and killed and barely made past the checkpoint where they opened fire.
Joiner was the only victim that day. He took a bullet to the left leg, and ISIS would later claim credit for orchestrating the attack, making it the first ISIS-backed terror event on U.S. soil.
Joiner’s lawsuit is seeking just over $8 million in damages, and argues that the FBI essentially allowed the attack to happen.
“The FBI helped the terrorists obtain a weapon that was used in the attack by lifting a hold during a background check, incited the terrorist to attack the Garland event, and even sent an agent to accompany the terrorists as they carried out the attack,” the court filing said.
The filing also alleged that former FBI Director Jim Comey lied in a “post-attack cover-up” about the bureau’s knowledge of how the attack unfolded and what Comey and the bureau knew about what was likely to transpire.
“In the aftermath of the attack, former FBI Director James Comey lied to the American people by claiming that Simpson was a needle in a haystack’ that was ‘invisible to us,'” the filing alleged. “Even after it had come to light that an undercover FBI agent had been communicating extensively with the terrorists during the week prior to the event and had accompanied them as they carried out the attack, the FBI continued to assert that “[t]here was no advance knowledge of a plot to attack the cartoon drawing contest.”
The FBI did not respond to a request for comment.
Since the attack, a separate court case and a “60 Minutes” report in March revealed that an undercover FBI agent was in the car directly behind Simpson and Soofi when they opened fire, and was even taking pictures of the car about 30 seconds before the first shots were fired. That case even revealed that the agent had texted Simpson just weeks before with the message, “Tear up Texas.”
Shortly after the first shots were fired, the agent fled, and was briefly detained by Garland Police, as seen in a video still from WFAA TV in Dallas.
Because of a separate court case tangentially related to Simpson and Soofi, it’s known that the FBI had been monitoring Simpson for years, and that the FBI agent was undercover in the Phoenix ISIS cell had direct contact with them routinely in the months leading up to the attack.
Joiner’s attorney, Trenton Roberts told the Washington Examiner this year that he now believes the FBI might have been willing to let the attack unfold to even greater lengths.
“It seems like it had to have been one or the other,” Roberts told the Washington Examiner in April. “Just a complete botched operation where they [the FBI] don’t want the attack to actually take place, or, it’s something where they need the attack to take place in order for this guy [the agent] to advance in the world of ISIS.”
“And that’s really what I think. I think that they thought, ‘he’s undercover and in order to advance, he needed to get pictures or video of this attack,’ and then that would bolster his street cred within ISIS,” Roberts said.
The events have even unnerved some congressional elected officials, as both Sen. Ron Johnson, Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee and Senator Chuck Grassley, Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, have both made inquiries to the FBI in an attempt to get to the bottom of the story.

Very scary. Haven’t these congressmen gone directly to President Trump and demand he shake up the FBI about this? They work for him and this must be resolved. Anyone who doesn’t want this resolved ASAP has no right to call him or herself an American.

No fan of strange Christian groups, but a decision was made by the Feds to genocide them.
No one was ever held to account.
The next president, Bush the Younger, was the son of Bush the Elder, whose FBI had similarly almost genocided an obscure and unpopular Christian family, the Weavers, living in isolation in Ruby Ridge, Idaho.
So not much enthusiasm to investigate Clinton’s and his AG’s atrocity in Texas, when combative Dems in Congress would have certainly brought up his father’s analogous earlier affair in revenge.
And, of course, the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue after him was Soebarkah. No telling how many Christians that monster had wet dreams of genociding, so no interest in holding anyone to account in his administration, either.
And so the swamp drifts along…

There is a list of criminal investigations left over from the obimbo administration that if ever pursued, will take a whole dedicated department years just to prepare the charges. The dirty wash of democrats in federal or any politics must be aired in public.

Don’t think the fbi is worthy of the praise they get. They are NOT on the side of the citizens, but on the side of ‘winning’ the case they are assigned to. This isn’t the first time they have know something was about to happen and ‘stand down’ type of non-action was taken. I hope he wins.

There is something rotten in the FBI.
Sound as if Pamela Geller and the others at the event were viewed as collateral damages.
Hopefully, this lawsuit will get to the bottom of it.
However, I think the guilty parties will take the truth to their grave.

I wonder if Molly Norris, organizer of Draw Muhammad day and a member of the witness protection program, hasn’t already been fingered by muslums in the US law enforcement community. If she were to have been killed, no one in local law enforcement would know — because she’s living under an assumed identity.

Everyone, with the exception of leftist and jihads, is savvy to the fact that Comey and the FBI generally are zealous leftists. They are not as their motto spouts, Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity; not when it comes to Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer and indeed, the entirety of the Conservative Right. One hopes the scum/truth will float to the surface so that those of this fetid agency involved in this ISIS attack will be indicted. I hold little confidence that this come to pass, by virtue of, our judiciary, the FBI and others have been enabled by deeply entrenched, influential subversives.
The swamp is fathomless and more far-reaching than anyone could imagine. The woeful and seditionist Democrats would throw anyone including this Republic under the proverbial bus to regain power. The Democrats, however, are merely a fraction of the swamp’s scum; Soros and others must also be indicted for their evildoing. This, too, will never come to pass, unfortunately.

I hope that Pam Geller joins the lawsuit. This issue needs to be elevated to the President of the United States to resolve, and to the US Attorney General to begin investigations. Where is the Congressional oversight? I will ask my Senators and Congressman to initiate an investigation. In my opinion, Comey should be charged with a capital crime if facts ultimately bear out the obvious appearances.

It seems to me, partly based on these events, but also on other reports that have come to light, that the FBI and the DOJ are enemies of the American people. This is truly frightening because they operate in the shadows which gives them immense power…power that could be used to bring down the American state, or to control it in a manner similar to the way that Russia’s security apparatus (and the Soviet Union’s in the past) controls Russia.
