Berkeley Cancels Free Speech Week: Casus Belli

Berkeley is our casus belli.

I am in California with Milo for Free Speech week to stand in defense of our First (not the Third or Eighth or Tenth, but our FIRST) Amendment — the freedom of speech. I am on the road, so I cannot relay all that has happened. But this I can assure you: you would not know this is America. Every event, every venue, even our press conference on Treasure Island, has been cancelled. Chains, literally, on the doors. It’s madness.

The only thing missing here is goosestepping goons walking in lockstep. But they are here — metaphorically speaking — chanting, “This is what neo-fascism looks like!”

We are currently stealthily en route to a new venue for the press conference. Until such time — believe nothing the enemedia is reporting. The press conference will be on Milo’s Facebook page live here within the hour.

Meanwhile, the media is in rabid frenzy, blaming Milo. Just like they blamed me when  jihadis opened fire on our free speech event in Garland, Texas.  It’s like blaming the rape victim because her skirt was a mite too short.

The bottom line is that no opposing views are allowed. Colleges aren’t institutions of higher learning anymore — they’re Antifa recruitment centers. Everyone who speaks the truth about jihad and left-wing authoritarianism is demonized, vilified, mocked, misrepresented, in an attempt to destroy us, drag our names through the mud, murder our good names.

Berkeley claims to be the birth of the Free Speech Movement (FSM), heralding back to its darkest hour in 1964 as some great victory. Just the opposite. The Berkeley revolt (euphemistically entitled the Free Speech Movement — just as the recent jihad revolutions were affectionately called the “Arab Spring”) kicked off the decades-long war on academic freedom in America. The Free Speech Movement in 1965 had nothing to do with free speech; it was all about the seizure of power, and from what I have seen the past two days, the coup was an unmitigated success.

WE had free speech before this movement, which was actually dedicated to silencing those who stand in defense of freedom and individual rights.

Mario Savio, the leader of the FSM, was no hero; he was a radical or as the left likes to call them an “organizer,” who ushered in utter lawlessness and one-party rule at Berkeley, with the help of all kinds of off-campus assistance, uber-left faculty members and the craven cowardice of the Kerr administration.

We plan to march on Berkeley tomorrow.

The students may have pulled out of Free Speech Week but I and my speakers have not. We will release more information in an emergency Facebook Live press conference shortly.
