Atlas broke the story of tens of thousands of dollars coming in from Hamas-controlled Gaza, millions coming in from Muslim countries, and imaginary Obama contributors: “Good Will,” “Loving you,” “Doo da DooDa” and gibberish donors ….

Credit card fraud was rampant, with John Galt, Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, and Bill Ayers all making contributions. A number of Atlas readers and FB friends have advised me that the credit card fraud is in full swing again. Adrian Murray went to barackobama.com and donated $3 using the name Adolph Hitler, 123 Nuremburg Way, Berlin, Germany, and for good measure put in Dictator of Nazi Party as employer. Got an email back saying Dear Adolph, Thank you for your generous donation….
Because the Obama campaign does not require the CVV 3-digit security code for credit card charges, anyone can donate to Obama’s campaign from anywhere.
The media, in its continuing act of perfidy and criminally corrupt silence, says nothing, does nothing and refuses to report on these blatant election fraud abuses. And it’s happening again. Now.

AP spins it as “See, Obama is so transparent that we actually know when his fundraisers get accused of crimes.”
The New York donor, Abake Assongba, and her husband contributed more than $50,000 to Obama’s re-election effort this year, federal records show. But Assongba is also fending off a civil court case in Florida, where she’s accused of thieving more than $650,000 to help build a multimillion-dollar home in the state — a charge her husband denies.
Obama is the only presidential contender this year who released his list of “bundlers,” the financiers who raise campaign money by soliciting high-dollar contributions from friends and associates. But that disclosure has not come without snags; his campaign returned $200,000 last month to Carlos and Alberto Cardona, the brothers of a Mexican fugitive wanted on federal drug charges.
The Obama campaign is not transparent. It may not even be fundraising within the law. At the other end of the Obama campaign’s fundraising, the low dollar donation end they have been emphasizing and using to raffle off dates with the president, they have apparently switched off the credit card address verification system again. Adrian Murray posted this on facebook, on March 31.
The fraud continues. Just went to barackobama.com and donated $3 using the name Adolph Hitler, 123 Nuremburg Way, Berlin, Germany and for good measure put in Dictator of Nazi Party as employer. Got an email back saying Dear Adolph, Thank you for your generous donation….
The point? To prevent credit card fraud, merchants require that the address match what the credit card issuer has on file. Called the Address Verification System (AVS), an additional layer of protection requires the three digit security code. The Obama team has disabled the AVS so anyone anywhere in the world can anonymously donate to his campaign, thereby exceeding campaign donation limits and violating federal finance laws. They pulled the same stunt in 2008, but the media wouldn’t report it.
The Obama campaign switched the AVS off in 2008, and the MSM never called them on it. Murray followed up by trying the same trick with two of the Republican candidates’ web sites:
I then went to the Romney and Santorum websites and tried the same thing. Both rejected the donations with a message that the address could not be verified as belonging to the card holder.
Try it. Make up a name and an address and donate to Obama. Then try it with the other two. Only Obama will accept the donation.
Disabling the AVS system has to be done intentionally. According to Adrian Murray, it has been done on the Obama campaign web site — again.

Ya know, giving them your actual credit card number means they get your real name. All you’ve done is successfully contribute to Obama’s campaign.
If anything, Pam, you’re the one skirting with fraud by suppling a fake name. There’s a good chance lying like that is against the terms and conditions on your credit card.
Think about it for minute: what are you going to do if your CC company asks about a charge to Obama’s campaign that involves your real number and the fake name? Are you going to admit that you supplied the fake name, or are you going to lie and say that you don’t know anything about it?
Investigative journalism: I don’t think you know what those words mean.

Mattand, if any of these fraudulent transactions is processed successfully by the card holders bank then your mocking criticism of Pamela is misplaced and should rather be directed at the banks concerned. I’m sure Pamela would be very happy if you could get all these fraudulent transactions reversed by contacting the banks directly, and that includes getting her $3 back to her.

You’re way missing the point here. Geller and others have willingly donated to Obama’s campaign with their own credit cards. Giving the Obama people a fake name and address means nothing. If she and the others want their money back, they need to call, all they have to do is call their credit card company.
Of course, doing that means the donors have to explain to the banks issuing the cards why they lied when making the donation. Quite frankly, that’s the fraud here. I would hope Pam tells everyone what happens when she gets in touch with her CC company.
I’m also questioning how “widespread” this is. A tiny handful of people misrepresenting their own IDs with their own cards for $2 to $3 a pop isn’t fraud. The Obama campaign is probably appreciative of the donation, though.

The other problem with Pam’s “bombshell” is that her whole thesis makes no sense: she donates money with her card under a fake name; therefore there are many more people with actual stolen credit cards donating under fake names.
As stated before, donating money with a card you legally own with a fake name doesn’t constitute fraud on the recipient’s part.
I’d say Pam is committing some form of logical fallacy. The problem is she has no proof that there are actual stolen credit cards being used to donate to the Obama campaign.

Mattand, you are clearly a liberal because you evidently think like one. Specifically: first you obfuscate Pam’s true thesis and second project the flaws of your side of the debate to those critical of your side.

The point here is not using stolen credit cards as you would misdirect people to believe, the point is by turning off AVS donation limits can be violated.
And accusing Pam of fraud is where you are projecting. The real fraudulent act is turning off the AVS, which is clearly illegal – it’s spelled out, not making a silly $2 donation.

This is what us regular folks call “money laundering”.
For example, say some mafia boss wants to launder a couple million dollars. He calls Axelrod and says, “You’ll receive $2 million tonight at midnight”. Sure enough, the $2 million arrives right on schedule, UNTRACEABLE, because AVS was turned off. Then, if Obama is reelected, Axelrod will get another phone call from the same mafia boss, reminding him of the donation, and now expecting favors in return.
The possibilities are endless. Drug money, bank robbery, jihad money, etc. etc. All these will have their hands out if he is reelected, expecting to get favors for the money they gave him (that he laundered for them).

How do you know that Pamela wasn’t using a pre-paid Visa card? That’s the whole point. You can purchase a truckload of pre-paid Visa cards, and then use them to donate ANONYMOUSLY to Obama’s campaign. It’s an easy way to unload some money that needs laundering, because no one will ever know who donated, because it’s a pre-paid Visa card.
The only way any legitimate outfit would take a prepaid Visa card is if you have activated it and put your name on it. If you do that, you have lost anonymity.
None of the other campaigns in 2008 disabled name verification. Not Hillary, not McCain. Only the Chicago thug Obama.

Barack Hussein Obama Sr. (Obama’s father) Born: 4/4/36 Died: 11/24/82 at the age of 46. He was 5 years old when WW II started, and less than 9 1/2 yrs old when it ended.
Lolo Soetoro (Obama’s step father) Born: January 2,1935 Died: 3/2/87 at the age of 52.
He was 6 years old when WW II started, and 10 years old when it ended. He must have been the youngest Veteran in the war.

The point is Obama’s website is supposed to have the AVS System in place to match the address given with the address attached to the card. With this system disabled it opens the door to fraud and that is campaign finance fraud. With the Obama campaign, even when the contribution records are made public, questionable contributions are rarely given back whether for $2.00 or for $50,000. Further even when you have thousands of questionable $2.00 donations, it is no small amount! The same thing was done in 2008 when there were millions of dollars of questionable contibutions. It is illegal for contributions to be accepted from those who are not American citizens yet it was done in 2008 and will likely be done again in 2012. To those who think that this will not open the gates to a flood of campaign finance fraud, wait till the records are made public. Where were you people in 2008? Asleep?

Mark, I completely agree with you regarding Obama’s disrespect for the truth. However in the case of the example you present I believe marble-mouth simply made a typical-for-Obumble slip and he meant to refer to his grandfather’s return from the war. I don’t believe he sincerely meant to speak about his father in this instance.
Now the gaffs he made about visiting all 57 states and about his Muslim faith I think were very revealing.
