911 Family Members Excluded from Official 10th Anniversary Ceremonies

911 family members
911 family members at our rally last year, Rosemary Cain, Rosaleen Tallon and Eileen Tallon, who lost firefighter and Marine reservist, Sean Tallon, and Sally Reganhard, who lost her son, firefighter Christian Regenhard — all will be speaking at our 911 Freedom rally on September 11 at Ground Zero.

Today, one 911 mom, who lost her son, said to me of our 911 Freedom Rally, "I am looking forward to the rally. It is a place we can be free to really remember the who, why, when and where of 9-11. The morning ceremony is devoid of any meaning."

The NY Post is reporting that many 911 family members have not been invited to the official ceremonies of 911. This is just monstrous. First it was clergy, then 911 first responders who were excluded from the official ceremonies — now it's the victims' families.

Story continues below advertisement

Mayor Gloomberg not only lost his heart, but he lost his marbles.

All 911 family members, first responders and clergy are welcome at the AFDI/SIOA 911 Freedom Rally at Ground Zero on September 11th. The "official" ceremonies are anything but that. They do not represent the reality of the war or the will of the American people. Members of various clergy will make the invocation of the AFDI/SIOA 911 Freedom Rally at West Broadway and Park Place at Ground Zero at 3:00 pm on September 11th. Speaking will be 911 family members, including Rosaleen Tallon, sister of hero firefighter and reservist in the United States Marine Corps, Sean Tallon, 9/11  attacks; Sally Regenhard, mother of hero firefighter Christian Regenhard, killed in the 911 attacks (Regenhard is an American activist who has become one of the leading voices for the families of the victims of the September); Nelly Brazinsky, who lost her only son, Alec; U. S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton; German MP René Stadtkewitz, leader of Germany’s Freedom Party (livestreaming to Germany), Dr. Arieh Eldad, former candidate for Prime Minister of Israel, Member of the Knesset; first responder Alan T. DeVona, the patrol sergeant on duty on September 11, 2001, as well as members of the clergy (a priest, a rabbi, a pastor, for the invocation) the leading voices for freedom across America and the free world, Anders Gravers, leader of SIOE and SIAD; Ezra Levant, TV anchor, newspaper columnist, author, founding publisher of the Western Standard magazine, the only Canadian media outlet to publish the Danish cartoons of Muhammed will be livestreaming on SUN TV, Sudanese ex-slave and freedom fighter Simon Deng; war hero and North Carolina Congressional candidate Ilario Pantano; William J. Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition, popular radio host Joyce Kaufman; Helen Freedman, Americans for a Safe Israel; Darla Dawald, National Director of the Patriot Action Network; James Lafferty of the Virginia Anti-Sharia Taskforce (VAST); Egyptian Coptic Christian activist Joseph Nassralla; Iraqi ex-Muslim Michael Paul; and others. Bring American flags.

And that evening, we will host a special screening  of the groundbreaking film, The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 911 Attacks (more here), at The Actor's Temple Theater on 47th between 8th and 9th Avenues. RSVP to [email protected].

Many families of 9/11 victims have yet to receive 10th-anniversary invites NY Post

Many families of 9/11 victims still have not received their invitation to attend the historic 10th-anniversary ceremony at the new Ground Zero memorial because of a bureaucratic bungle.

About 2,800 mailings to families — which include the numbered credentials required to gain entry to the site — were not sent out until Monday.

The late invites have relatives furious they'll be turned away or hassled during their annual pilgrimage to the hallowed ground. 911Rally No to Stealth

"It's a week away, and we have no idea what's going on," fumed FDNY Lt. James McCaffrey, whose brother-in-law, Battalion Chief Orio Palmer, was killed in the attacks. "There's no information about what we're supposed to do, or how many family members we're allowed to bring."

McCaffrey's wife, Agnes, requested to read her brother's name at the commemoration, but has yet to hear back from the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum Foundation, which is in charge of the invites, staging the ceremony and officially unveiling the memorial.

For the first time, families are required to show up as a group at a specific entrance, show their numbered credential, and present photos IDs.

In the packets mailed Monday, relatives were directed to check in before 6:30 a.m. at West Broadway and Murray Street. It said the ceremony would begin with a moment of silence at 8:48 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m., with family members allowed to remain at the memorial plaza and reflecting pools until 4 p.m.

But many families are worried they now won't get in at all.

"The city and memorial people blew this big time," said Bill Doyle, a victims'-family spokesman who lost his son, Joseph, in the attacks. He has not received credentials at his Florida home.

He said many families who live abroad have contacted him, anxious that their credentials will arrive after they've already left for New York.

In past years, City Hall handled invitations to family members with few mishaps. This is the first year 9/11 Memorial officials have performed the task.

pocketed $371,307, Museum director Alice Greenwald, who made $351,000, and capital planning Vice President Joan Gerner, who soaked up $337,143 before leaving last spring. Development director Cathy Blaney raked in $322,292. She is a full-time foundation employee, and yet she also worked last year as a fund-raiser for the election campaign of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
These are the same ghoulticians who are using the human remains as part of some Museum exhibit. They have no humanity, despite a unanimous outcry from the 911 victims' families.

Leading experts in the field agree with the 911 families. One such expert, Dr. Chip Colwell-Chanthaphonh, whom the Times identifies as “an expert on the repatriation of Native American remains at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science,” noted that when bodies have been put on display in other exhibitions, everyone involved signed a consent form. But none of these 9/11 family members have given consent to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.

Where did all this money come from? Donations from unsuspecting Americans, school children and bake sales. Museum publicity material has featured schoolgirls who donated a dollar each to the museum. Donations solicited for the Museum ended up paying for $5.3 million in salaries and benefits for Memorial and Museum employees in 2009.

911 FAMILY MEMBERS EXCLUDED FROM OFFICIAL TENTH ANNIVERSARY 911 CEREMONIES
We are at a place in history (at least with many of our PC political elites) where appeasement and “tolerance” rule. (There are some Churchills about willing to see reality re the dogmas of Islam, but the Bloomberg types are generally appeasers and will “tolerate” lies to keep the peace-as did Neville Chamberlain at Munich in September 1938.
Tolerance is not a virtue (not the virtue of courage, temperance, prudence, justice) but merely an attitude. Tolerance can be an attitude that will open the door to unspeakable evil unless all peoples speak the truth re Islam’s real dogmas. Islam, unlike the teachings of Jesus (e.g.), gives the green light to what Jesus forbade: deception, murder of the innocent (no non-Muslims is “innocent” as per real Islam), Jew-hating and supremacy-oppression of all Unbelievers. That’s why Hitler (and Himmler) said that Islam is perfect for Nazi ideology, why Hitler called the teachings of Jesus “the Jewish Christ creed with its pity ethics” and why Hitler considered the teachings of Jesus a “feminine” religion.
Hitler got it right re Islam. How ironic hat the “tolerance”-PC-people defend a religion that Hitler considered “manly.” (I guess it is manly to do clit-sniping, as is done with 90% of the women in Egypt? I guess it’s “tolerant” to be silent re that?)

This makes absolutely no sense. “When the planes slammed into the World Trade Center on September 11, more than 100 unborn children were instantly orphaned.” How could 100 unborn children be instantly orphaned? If their mothers were pregnant and killed, so were the unborn babies.

One of the aspects of the so-called “thinking” of the “tolerance”-PC people is that they do not distinguish between form and substance. For them Islam must be “tolerated because it is a religion. That’s its form, but its substance matters more. Not all coats are made of the same stuff.
The comparison of Islam and Judaism (e.g.) is absurd. Judaism is essentially a closed-shop religion with one piece of Real Estate that matters. The Zionists who purchased land from the Muslim Arab (mostly absentee) landlords were thinking in terms of defense-and ultimately they had to form a military force to protect themselves. Zionism is a defensive ideology. Islam, on the other hand, is offensive in nature. It takes a few marbles to see that.
“Mayor Gloomberg not only lost his heart, but he lost his marbles.”-Pamela That’s about it. It’s appeasement called “tolerance.”

Probably for clarity should have said “were left fatherless”.

Who’s left to be there, the Muslim Brotherhood?
Correct! Everyone knows that the real victims of 911 are the Muslims, who have had to suffer immense amounts of Islamophobia and other thoughtcrimes since the event. It is they and their representatives who should be invited, not some hangers-on of najis kuffars who were incidently incinerated as collateral damage.
It was the kuffars’ fault anyway. 911 was just retribution for colonialism, Crusades, Christmas, piggy banks, Salman Rushdie etc etc. We should all apologise to the Muslims for 911.

Although the Muslims danced in the streets immediately after the attacks, they are now realising that 911 might have been bad for Islam in that it threatened to wake the West up to the viciously aggressive nature of the Death-Cult, while it still had time to stop it. They need to put the kuffars back to sleep for a few years.
So the Muslims have now put a different spin on the events, at least for kuffar consumption. In future, all 911 anniversaries will be Muslim victimfests, with the Muslims dreaming up ever more heart-rending sob-stories about the effects of Islamophobia.
The attack will be increasingly portrayed as an impersonal disaster like a hurricane, that was no-one’s fault. The hijackers, in so far as they are mentioned, were deranged solitary loners who had nothing to do with Islam and just happened to be Muslims, in the same way they could equally well have been Methodists or Quakers.
The fact that Mohammed, the perfect model of conduct for all Muslims, said ‘I have been made victorious through terror’ , is completely irrelevant.

What I’m figuring is that by the 15th anniversary date, maybe even sooner since Mosk Mike is around, September 11 will turn into an official day of celebration for the Muslims and the dhimmis, along the lines of how the Muslims celebrated with smiles, hugs, and the giving out of candy in Gaza. (Those videos are on youtube.)
We’re watching this happen before our very eyes. Clergy not invited, Obama calling 911 a day of public or national service NOT a day of mourning, now 911 families not invited, a room dedicated to Muslim victims in the 911 official memorial site. We most definitely do not have leaders. We have betrayers galore.
Pam, Robert, Steve, Daniel, and too many others to name: Please, please, keep up the pressure. For my part I am taking your materials and passing them on, educating my family, friends, clients, about Islam.
Thank you.

(In part)
My quest to understand Islam began on the morning of September 11th 2001. I wanted to know why Muslim militants were killing us. So I went off to Ground Zero for Islamic terror – Israel. The West Bank is home to more suicide bombers per capita than anywhere else on earth. I arranged to meet with the terrorists themselves. I asked members of al-Qaeda, Islamic Jihad, al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, and Hamas why they were killing us. They said, “Islam. We are following Muhammad’s orders.”

Hehe. Good catch, tvlgds. Not as silly, however, as Barky’s speech to an audience that included “fallen soldiers.” I’m sure Ms Geller wouldn’t have made that mistake if she hadn’t been so upset about the dissed 9/11 families as she was writing it. Barky, on the other hand, probably still doesn’t get how he could have been wrong to address the fallen soldiers in the audience to whom he was speechifying.

Truly, this is just terrible. An unbelievable disgrace, and a clear slap in the face to the 9/11 family members, the first responders and their families, and frankly, to all Americans. This is a day of mourning and remembrance of those who were murdered by muslim terrorists that day. Ground Zero is truly a burial ground. Just like Pearl Harbor. There are still human remains at both places that will always be there. For those who’ve spent any time at Pearl Harbor, you know the emotions that well up at each visit…it doesn’t matter if the date is 1960 or 2011. It’s hallowed ground, and that feeling is truly in the air. No amount of whitewashing is going to change the fact that Ground Zero IS a burial ground.
It’s not just New Yorkers who are affected by what Bloomberg and hussein are orchestrating. People certainly are talking about this in my state…conservatives and liberals alike. It’s not lost on anyone that the occupier of the WH wants to get rid of this memory that muslims killed almost 3,000 people, on American soil. And it’s also not lost on anyone that Bloomberg has screwed up this very important day of remembrance. I can tell you, many people I’ve spoken to are OUTRAGED that there will be no prayer at the main ceremony. At that point, why even have a ceremony. Which I think is exactly what Bloomberg and hussein want.

It’s likely that the spin doctors of the immensely wealthy and influential Organisation of Islamic Conquest are working hard at ‘rebranding’ 9/11.
My guess is that within five years we’ll see the 11th of September celebrated as ‘Interfaith Understanding Day’ or something similar, with lots of diversionary kitsch aimed at blotting out the memory of its origins.

My belief isn’t so much as the victims have more in common with the perpetrators than that one of the BIGGEST evils and root causes cannot be dismissed are the “senile vestiges of British Imperialism” that upset the apple-cart in the first place and how little is laid at The “Door” of anti patriotic C.I.A Traitors,agents-who along with their rival perpetrators of evil acts help cause “The cesspit of reaction” and got under way “The Satanic mills” of action that result in the “Destruction of The Twin Towers” and every violent act that has followed it,for to view, painful that it is the bigger picture and the power of action that resides with “all” of these betrayers who sit around waiting and nurturing these acts and counter acts of violence and war!BELIEVE me when I tell you that these traitors never cease make common cause together when one side or the other is loosing-like when the Iraq war was in it’s initial stages-in order to “Abuse scapegoats” and make “Sure” heads “roll” in order to satisfy their rage at tempory or total loss of power-I know because I have been VICTIM of such “realities” believe me,I wouldn’t wish that on anyone in the first and second place, because I know why people desire power! None of our govts. have the right to perpetrate, nurture and bring about abuses in the life of the individual, like many that will go unnoticed or others or for those “who are justly mourned for” on this, the 10th anniversary or that act.

I remember the days that followed 9/11. The flags that were outside homes,
on cars, the words NEVER FORGET written everywhere. We have a few days to go
Atlas readers. Starting today, go out and display your flag, put it on your
cars, buy paint soap and write on your vehicle for all to see up and down
town and on the parkways…Did you forget? Or I didn’t forget! Put 9/11
NEVER FORGET somewhere on your car or your front lawn or on street polls or
even sticky notes in supermarkets. Keep busy for a week leading up to our
tenth year anniversary. Don’t allow it to be a day of “SERVICE” in the
minds of our sleep walking population. Wake them up! The population of our
nation has no right to be spoon fed like infants the rhetoric coming from
the media without a counter effort by the rest of US. Be the counter effort.
Send your emails to a firefighter or a police officer or to your other first
responders and thank them for their service and tell them how happy you are
they came home. Go to a nearby firehouse and walk in with a little card of
thanks, to a police car just sitting there, knock on the window and say
thank you.
I remember the outpouring from the population of Americans who rallied
together in their small town communities, the little old ladies, the cute
little boy scouts and girl scouts of America. They made care packages for
the first responders. Inside each one was a personal little note by the person
who made it, and the thoughts were touching and comforting. I have kept the
little totes my husband brought home filled with shaving cream and dry socks
and razors and gum. So thoughtful and so sweet. They came from around the
country, little un-heard of towns, from people who NEEDED to be involved,
who WANTED to be involved.
To those of you, those of you who are without a name, a face, without any
acknowledgement, I say from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU! THANK YOU
for your generousity! For your support, for your brotherly love!
God bless America on this tenth anniversary!

First responders decry exclusion from 9/11 ceremony
By Jeff Stein
August 30, 2011
CNN
New York (CNN) — When debris rained from the sky in lower Manhattan on September 11, 2001, the first responders to the terrorist attack did not turn away. They rushed to the World Trade Center buildings while the world around them crumbled.
Yet now, after all the wreckage has been cleared and the rebuilding has begun, their path is again blocked — not by flying chunks of smoldering rubble, but by space constraints.
The first responders are not invited to this year’s September 11 memorial ceremony at ground zero, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office confirmed Monday.
It’s a painful insult for many of the approximately 3,000 men and women who risked their lives, limbs and lungs on that monumental day, puncturing another hole in a still searing wound.
In a statement, Bloomberg spokesman Andrew Brent said the commemoration ceremony is for the victims’ families.
“While we are again focused on accommodating victims’ family members, given the space constraints, we’re working to find ways to recognize and honor first responders, and other groups, at different places and times,” Brent said.
But first responder John Feal, founder of an advocacy group for the police officers, firefighters, civilian volunteers and others who worked at ground zero, assailed Brent’s response, saying Bloomberg “lives in his own world.”
“The best of the best that this country offered 10 years ago are being neglected and denied their rightful place,” Feal said.
Denise Villamia, a first responder who worked at ground zero for several months, cried over the phone as she recalled her “totally heartbroken” reaction to the news that she could not attend the memorial service.
“I’m crying because it’s really a big betrayal on the part of the city, to rob me from my way to pay homage and to find that comfort and healing,” she said. “I feel that I have been robbed of my way to pay tribute.”
In addition to the victims’ families, several politicians, including two presidents, are expected to be in attendance. Bloomberg’s office would not provide specifics on the ceremony’s arrangements, but did note that the first responders have not been invited to the preceding nine memorial services, either.
Yet first responder Morris Faitelewicz, vice president of the Auxiliary Police Supervisors Benevolent Association, called that explanation “nonsense.” Faitelewicz said that, while there are not usually formal invitations, first responders have been able to attend all of the previous ceremonies simply by showing up.
Not allowing them to attend this year — the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks — is an especially galling affront, he said.
Additionally, many of the first responders see the decision, first reported by the New York Daily News, as evidence of the city’s attempt to push to the background their untreated ailments in the official narrative of recovery and renewal.
If the responders attend the memorial service, “the promise ‘we’ll never forget’ becomes a blatantly obvious lie — a public display that the government didn’t do right by us,” says Bonnie Giebfried, a first responder.
“It’ll bring up the issue that we’re basically walking dead, and that we’re not being treated.”
Despite the passage in December of the $4.2 billion Zagroda Act, which provides medical treatment and compensation to responders, many first responders told CNN that the government has failed to address their health needs.
Giebfried has suffered from a failing liver and kidneys, a crushed arm, elbow and wrist; post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic fatigue, encroaching lupus and other diseases. All were caused by the dust, debris and other substances to which she was exposed on 9/11, she said.
On that day, Giebfried, an emergency medical technician at the time, was twice entombed in sheared building fragments, and twice escaped.
She and her partner, Jennifer Beckham, transported people to safety and set up makeshift triage stations. She watched bodies hit the ground and explode “like a bouncing ball,” and suffered three asthma attacks through a harrowing day of devastation.
Giebfried said her ongoing medical travails have disabused her of the belief that the United States honors and looks after its service members. Being excluded from the memorial proceedings was yet another confirmation of this, she said.
“If the Founding Fathers ever saw what had happened to us responders, they would roll over in their graves,” she said. “Leaving first responders and survivors out of the 10th anniversary is absolutely ludicrous.”
Her frustrations were echoed by others.
Father Stephen Petrovich, who drove to ground zero from Huron, Ohio, hours after the terrorists struck, spent weeks at the site removing and blessing the remains of shattered bodies. While there, he says, he inhaled carcinogens that damaged his lungs, and is now in hospice care.
“I don’t think they want us there because of all the problems we’ve had,” Petrovich said. “It’s like we’ve been dropped off the face of the earth.”
In July, the World Trade Center Health Program, which administers funds from the Zagroda Act, ruled that first responders would not receive compensation for cancer treatment because there is no established causal link between the incidence of cancer and exposure to the site on September 11, citing a dearth of “published scientific and medical findings.”
A first responder who also spent months at ground zero, the Rev. Terry Lee called not being invited back for the ceremony “a rip in the heart.”
Lee said the country should honor those who responded at its most dire hour of need to encourage others to respond to crises.
“I believe attending will help the healing process … if we go; we can tell our fellow man to get involved, because, ‘hey, America takes care of its own.'”
City snubs finest: Victims’ kin, pols invited but ‘no room’ for first responders at 9/11 anniversary

WASHINGTON – The cops, firefighters and rescue workers who toiled at Ground Zero will not be invited to take part in the 10th anniversary ceremony, a city official told the Daily News Friday.
First responders will instead be asked back to the site at another day for a separate commemorative ceremony, city officials said.
Space and security logistics were at the heart of the decision, those involved said.
Family of the nearly 3,000 killed receive first priority at an event with maximum security.
President Obama’s appearance will make the day even more of a security concern.
For many first responders, though, the news was a bitter pill.
“To have a separate service on another day has no significance, no meaning,” said David Jacobs of Queens, who volunteered at the site sifting debris and who lost a childhood friend, a city firefighter, in the attacks.
“For many of us, we gave a lot at that site,” he said.
As many as 91,000 people took part in the initial search and rescue and subsequent 10-month cleanup, according to estimates taken for the city.
In past years, first responders were welcomed to the annual commemoration because little or no construction had begun at the site and space was not at a premium.
Lawmakers also got word yesterday that their numbers were restricted. Only representatives from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut got congressional approval to attend.
House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) Friday decided the government would pick up the tab for representatives from just those three states.
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-Manhattan) had sought to make the event open to lawmakers from across the country since the devastation was a national tragedy, not just a regional event.
In contrast, all lawmakers are allowed to attend the memorial in Shankesville, Pa., where the hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 eventually crashed.

Nearly 1,020 first responders have lost their lives in the last 10 years due to health problems caused by the air quality at Ground Zero.
Many more are still suffering from health problems, while still battling with the U.S. Government for proper health coverage. The first responders who lost their lives on 9/11 add to the victims total of that tragic day. Not only should we honor them for their service and courage — after all, they were the ones who stood up when we were all in shock — but they should be at the center stage of the upcoming official ceremony in New York City.
When debris rained from the sky in lower Manhattan on September 11, 2001, the first responders to the 9/11 attack did not turn away. They rushed to the World Trade Center buildings while the world around them crumbled. Yet now, after all the wreckage has been cleared and the rebuilding has begun, their path is again blocked by space constraints and politics. In addition to the victims’ families, several politicians, including two presidents, are expected to be in attendance.
Politicians More Important Than 9/11 First Responders
Politicians have barred these brave men and women from the official ceremony site this year. The first responders are not invited to this year’s September 11 memorial ceremony at ground zero, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office confirmed in August.
This is a painful insult and we should all be outraged.

Wow seems that you spew hate even when we are talking about the ones that put their lives at risk in time of tragedy but Eric Cantor wants to stop aid for a natural tragedy to get money from the elderly and the disabled. May the big shots like the mayor the governor etc should be shown the door so to speak so there is room for the heroes not the ones that probably peed their pants when this happened.
